Duluth Lice Removal

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityThe services that Colleen had provided to my family and I, while she was employed through The Lice Lounge in Duluth, were great. However, trying to schedule services with Colleen alone, without The Lice Lounge, have been less than desirable. There’s little to no contact and follow through with services. For example, I messaged her for lice removal, and she messaged me back stating she could come to my house, as long as it was within a 30 mile radius of Duluth, so on and so forth. Then I messaged her a time, that worked for my child and I, and then I heard nothing back from her. Over the course of 2 days, my 5 text messages and 1 missed call with a voicemail attached, should have been answered. The services that Colleen had provided to my family and I, while she was employed through The Lice Lounge in Duluth, were great. However, trying to schedule services with Colleen alone, without The Lice Lounge, have been less than desirable. There’s little to no contact and follow through with services. For example, I messaged her for lice removal, and she messaged me back stating she could come to my house, as long as it was within a 30 mile radius of Duluth, so on and so forth. Then I messaged her a time, that worked for my child and I, and then I heard nothing back from her. Over the course of 2 days, my 5 text messages and 1 missed call with a voicemail attached, should have been answered. I’m disappointed to say the least.

I seen the text messages between her and my wife and I am disgusted with her neglect to take care of my wife as she had stated on June 16th. On June 16th Colleen Told my wife “sry I’m oit of town ATM but can take care of ya tomorrow?(notice the professionalism) My wife responded with “Yes please! What time works for you?” Colleen – “Afternoon?” So my wife reached out to her right after and the evening of June 16th and the morning of June 17th(crickets)…to finally getting a reply back of “sry I’m out of town at a cabin and have limited service.”(Oh..ok..You’re out of town, but said the day before you’d come out to “take care of ya” ) My wife tried and tried to communicate(calls/texts)with her on what time she was planning on coming to our house(again crickets)TODAY June 17th. In the meantime..I decided to sacrifice my sleep(12 hour nightshift at the hospital and the day before 17.5 hours due to the power outage)and spent all day pulling out 2 dozen worth of lice eggs and 2 baby lice(my wife pulled some out in the morning as well). Seeing how Colleen neglected my wife by not being straightforward(if you’re busy, you’re busy, we get it, but you need to be a responsible business owner and say that you are unavailable) took an emotional toll on my wife. My wife has black thick curly hair and is difficult to go through if you’re not experienced (like I am). At about 5pm today June 17th we finally got a reply from Colleen saying “Just got reception Give me a call if you’d like to set up an appt”. Ummmm…EXCUSE ME? Are YOU KIDDING ME!? You told us you would come “take care of ya tomorrow” “afternoon”…and you want to set up an appointment? Huh?? My wife took time off of work, to receive the care Colleen said she would provide. There is some who experienced this same treatment we did and their review is on google. I cannot speculate on why Colleen felt to treat my wife so poorly the way she did. But I can say I have an idea from what I’ve gathered from her public Facebook posts and that’s all I have to say.I would not recommend services from Colleen J McLaughin Martin. And this is why. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueLice free in 1 night. Not once, but twice, after finding out my daughter and I had head lice. Thorough job, done very clean, and with the patience of a saint. Don’t stress yourself out, trying to remove head lice alone, and hire the professional instead.
