I’ve gotten my haircut by Don probably five times now and I always told him the same thing each time. I was explicit about just trimming (key word trimming) my front hair that I wanted to keep longer and even specified just about a half inch. It took me awhile to get it to a length that I liked and I just wanted to maintain that length. This guy proceeds to do as he pleases and cuts it down to two inches from maybe four inches…it’ll grow back sure but now I have to wait months again to get that length that I liked…smh. The one and only time I had my haircut with Andy he made a few nicks on the back of my neck that were clearly visible. Time to find a new shop.

I’ve had my hair cut at DPB for over 40 year and when Paul and Bub sold the place and my barber Mike retired I started to wonder where I would got get my bi monthly haircut. Bub and Mike both suggested I give the new owner Don a try – that he did a good job – so I did. And I could not be happier. He is pleasant, interesting, and above all does a great job cutting my hair. No frills old school barber shop. I will keep getting my haircut at Dulles Park Barbershop.

When I have Bub I always give a 5 star as I’m in and out in 15 to 20 minutes with a quality simple gentleman’s hair cut. This is the second time I’ve been here and got a hair cut from Nina and almost an hour later I’m out with a simple hair cut. If I come next time and I’m in line for her I will leave or wait for the other barber. Probably won’t come back after Bub retires.
