This place is extremely unprofessional and rude. Their way of talking to people is through making smart remarks, and I overheard them talking amongst themselves saying very disrespectful things about customers who had just left. Seems less like a business and more like adults who get together to behave like self entitled teenage girls. Don’t take my word for it, just look at their responses whenever they get a less than optimal review. Their lack of professionalism is not limited to their responses at low reviews.

I tried going to Dukett’s Barber Shop instead of Begg’s (the last time I went to Begg’s it took two months for my hair to grow enough so that I didn’t look bald). When I got there there were a couple of other people ahead of me and only one barber working. The one barber working was a younger guy and he was taking forever. After awhile, another barber came in, but he had to eat his McDonald’s lunch first. The second barber seemed better and faster. When the young guy finished, a retired cop was next in line. However, he refused to go, so I got stuck with the younger guy. I told the kid that I really didn’t want very much taken off. I just wanted to neaten up my hair. He took forever and keep spraying water on my head. I was getting a really bad headache by this time. The whole time I was in there, they were playing Blues music which got old really fast. It took 90 minutes from the time I got to the barber shop until I was able to leave. To add insult to injury, the kid cut my hair way too short. If you want to look like a cop or a marine go here. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

Have gone to Duketts for years. Perfect military haircut everytime. Best thing he is fast, clean and uses a straight edge razor for a close shave. Go during the week! Avoid Fridays if you can because everyone seems to go during this time.
