A coworker recommended this place to me so I decided to try it out. Prices were reasonable except for a nail design. I had wanted them to copy a picture from online- shows 4 total nails with hearts drawn on them, the rest are French- I was charged $20!!!

Critical: QualityWell I wish I never went. I needed a full set for the holidays. My first time ever going here and needless to say I won’t be back, staff was friendly but the nail work is atrocious. I don’t think I’ve had my nails done this bad since I was 16. They are all different shapes and sizes. They are bumpy and the gel polish is peeling as well as their being crumbs poking out of the polish. Well I wish I never went. I needed a full set for the holidays. My first time ever going here and needless to say I won’t be back, staff was friendly but the nail work is atrocious. I don’t think I’ve had my nails done this bad since I was 16. They are all different shapes and sizes. I went three times to this location, but I tried different nail techs because I thought I would get one that I was comfortable with their experience. The techs come and go, but my last visit the tech had to excuse himself to go setup two other clients for pedicures because the manager urge him to, so I left and will never return. He thought that I would sit there and wait because I was the only Black, but I did tip the tech for the pedicure #3, but I did not got the gel (Pedi) or dip (Mani). Greed for money is why the failure with hiring and keeping anyone good techs. Never Ever Again! I Live just a few minutes away, so it was convenient for me.

I always love going here but today not so much! Pedicure went fine, but when it was time to get a set not only did I wait about 15 mintues but the man I had didn’t seem like he had patience nor did he want to hear my complaint about my the nail being g filed down way to far over compared to the other side and other thumb nail. Let’s just say I was not satisfied and just wanted to have him be done. Next time I will be refusing him for sure!

This past Friday, I went for a UV gel fill (my normal salon–Se7en Nails–was closed for maintenance) and luckily was taken as soon as I walked in. However, that was the only pro of this visit. My gel was applied sloppily and uneven, my nails were filed into a totally different shape and I had to point out all the flaws in my gel for the tech to fix. She said she’d fix them at no extra charge? I was still getting them done! They still came out misshapen, all for the inflated price of SIXTY DOLLARS!!! Someone before me wrote a review to just go to Se7en nails and I cannot agree more! They provide better quality for a more reasonable price. I paid for a green tea pedi… they soaked my feet for over 25 minutes… then used callous remover, which peeled my skin, because it was basically waterlogged. The polish was very watery. The overall pedicure was poor. The people just kept customers coming in and making them wait or soak… people who had appointments were waiting… overall.. never going back! My daughter has been there for 2 manicures.. both peeled in 2 days with wait time over15 minutes, which is unacceptable when you have an appointment

If I could give a half star rating I would. Even though we had scheduled appointments, we were treated with such complacency. Only Sophie and Kevin care about customer satisfaction, the rest of the employees cut corners as much as possible while charging you top dollar. Spend your time and money at Se7en Nail and Spa just about 8 minutes down the road. Staff at Se7en not only provide you with much better customer service, they desire to provide you with excellent customer satisfaction!! AND, they are much less expensive and provide superior services over Dutchess Nail & Spa Salon.
