I’ve been trying to get my nails done for a month but every time I have the time to get them done, the ones I go to in Pace are to busy. So I decided this past week while I was on 9 mile to stop in and see if DS Nails had time. I got right in with no wait. The lady was very understanding and gentle with my thumb (I have thumb that won’t bend and hurts due to some surgery gone wrong a year ago). The prices were better than where I go. And the customer service was on point. This will be my new nail place for now on!

I loved going to them. I have been going there since I was in high school. They usually do a good job and their daughter Wendy was amazing. But over time they have gotten unprofessional a regular pedicure use to come with a scrub but the past two times I have went they have not done that but yet they are still charging the same price for a regular pedicure. But I have not complained because they were so nice and did a really good job. Each time the price has increased from $70 to $100 but I have not changed anything I get the same thing everytime a pedicure is $30 plus gel nails would have been $55 even if they charged an extra $5 for the coffin shape that is still not $100. I really enjoyed going here but I will not be back because I have proof of what I have been charged in the past as well as pictures of what I get every time. And I always tip. But today I was overcharged and they know it. I decided to go ahead and pay I understand people work hard for there money and these are hard times. But they have got to treat there loyal customers better in actually very disappointed. I don’t mind paying and tipping when it is done correctly and I am not wrongfully overcharged. I also noticed today that they have a bad habit of talking about there customers when they leave and that is very distasteful. She also tried to quickly charge my card when I told her I wanted to make a split payment because I wasn’t expecting to pay that much. He told me to ask next time and they will give me the price ahead of time. But why when I ask when she already told me $55 for the nails and I can clearly read how much the pedicure was. Also why would I ask when I get the same thing every-time. I really like the family own business and I have enjoyed going to them the past couple of years but after my experience today I will not be back and I encourage them to try and charge the customers right. I also encourage them to not be money hungry because that discourages customers when they come in expecting it to be one way and it is not. I’m sad that I have to find a new nail salon but I need to have a nail salon that will be honest and fair when it comes to charging me. Prices are prices and I understand that however they should either stick to them or let the customers know that they will be going up on them.

Did a great job on my fingers and toes. I loved the color and my nail tech asked me what shape and made sure I absolutely loved it before I left. They’ve lasted three weeks with no breaks, which is something new for me! I always have a nail or two break. I’ll be coming back here definitely!!!

I’m not sure if they clean their foot tubs after each customer or just put the bags in them and move to the next person, but I did notice that no one cleaned the foot rub after the lady left that sat beside me. Went here yesterday for a pedicure and my feet has been itching since I left. I’m not sure if they clean their foot tubs after each customer or just put the bags in them and move to the next person, but I did notice that no one cleaned the foot rub after the lady left that sat beside me.
