The service is excellent. The hair wash is thorough. All the stylists do a fantastic job (save one). I am appalled, however, by the pricing. In just over a year, they raised their price from $45 to $50 to $55. Now, it just went up again to $59.00! Perhaps I should take my business elsewhere. Blowouts

It is a shame that this business is going by the way of many that once they become big enough, they lose focus on the very customers who made them. I went in with clean hair and asked for blow dry styling that based on their website is now even more expensive at $35. I was told that if they use a hair dryer, it will be $20 more for a total of $55. This is the Drybar, so I thought. And they have the audacity to give you tip options starting at 18%! This is ridiculous and I will take my business elsewhere. Please read the description of services on their website. They seem to intentionally play on words to allow them charge as they wish. I read that clean dry styling is $35 for 30 minutes but apparently they have a different definition. You can decide for yourself.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by my visit. I got my hair done for a wedding that I was in, over the weekend. It stayed all day and night (longer than some of the other girls in the wedding party), and I paid less than half the price that they paid for the bridal party hair stylist! I look forward to visiting another Dry Bar soon!

I called in to make my appointment for a Tuesday and it was my first timco. I found the front desks customer service lacking- made my appointment. Day of I come in and again I find the Front Desk lacking that customer service quality. I am worried, but as I see customers walk out I that the stylist do good work. My hairstylist exceeded my my expectations and I was very happy! Later in the month I try to give them another shot. They we’re having phone issues because when I called they would pickup but I couldn’t hear them. I called several times and ended up leaving a voicemaiI. I figured they would call once the phone situation was fixed. Being a mother of 4 I had called in the morning and after leaving the voicemail I went on with my day and forgot. When I remembered thaI I didn’t get a call back they had already closed. When I called the following morning to see if I could get in sometime in the morning that day, mind you it’s a Sunday. They said their morning was all booked. When I inquired about the phones not working the gal acknowledged it and when I asked about my voicemail she simply said they get tooany voicemails and are not able to return the calls to all of them. No apology- nothing. Moral of this review don’t leave a voicemail for me I will simply find a hairstylist to use from now on.

Same stylist each time I go but get inconsistent styles even though I ask for the same thing. Disappointed the last couple of times but will continue to patronize and hope for the best. Please for the love of goddess, get some new chairs in the shampoo area. They are worn/cracked and the most uncomfortable wash chairs I have ever sat in and for the prices charged, some upgrades should be considered. Check out the chairs at Nanana Parena, a hair salon in W. LA. A-MA-ZING.

I always love stopping in to a drybar for a pick me up/ treat. Tip don’t use hair spary to hold your hair if you are going to shower after, total disaster. Use pomade on your hair it will look a lot nicer you may have to change your style from what you have in mind but your hair will last days nice and soft. Or just shower before.

Front office and Management here is a fiasco. Twice I have gone and been told that the person is running 10-35 minutes late and once they didn’t even have the appt in the books even though I personally made it at the front desk on a prior appt. They used to have great staff and great stylists. But it is no longer the case. As the prior W. Coast Bureau Chief of Instyle finding great services is always a treasure and this place simply is a nightmare. Too many great salons and stylists to deal with repetitive incompetence.

My credit card was saved to someone else’s profile. A service from this location was fraudulently charged to my credit card on NOVEMBER 18, 2018 and they still have not completed the refund. My only service was not even at this location. Who does business like this?
