It’s a no for me! I probably have a bald spot now from how rough and fast she was blowing out my hair. Even when I told her to take it easy, she continued to do it. This will definitely be my first and last time at this place.

my stylist took me 40 minutes late and no apology. I have a wedding I need to be at today and my moms waiting in the car and now I am going to be late, very rude. Dry bar is not what it used to be at alllll. Why are their subpar blowouts almost $60 now? The blowouts comes out okkk (I feel like I can do just as good of a job with my beach waver at home) and the service is very very mediocre considering their pricing is the same as a high end NYC boutique where they offer real service and have experienced stylists.

HIDEOUS – do not use especially if you have someplace to go the same day/ I made an appt a week or two in advance . They called me SAME day ten minutes before service ( 8:50 AM on sunday) – saying they had to push back appt 45 minutes- well that is not going to work- I even asked for a most junior person or a shampooer to do blow dry …the person just kept repeating the same words: “we had a call out” – ..well that isnt my problem.

This Drybar is not nearly as good as it used to be. I was a Barfly member for a long time and frequently used their services. I recently booked an appointment at the Roslyn location since the Woodbury one that I normally go to is now closed. I arrived early, but never actually received my service because I had to wait for so long that I cancelled; I had an event that I’d be late to if I stayed (which was the whole purpose of getting a blowout). The receptionist was nice, but kept telling me that it’d only be a few more minutes because they were waiting for another stylist to show up. Once he did, he called another client who was also waiting for awhile. The receptionist then told me it would be at least another 20 minutes since they were waiting on ANOTHER stylist to show up and one other had called out. This process is supposed to be convenient, but it’s anything but. I’ll be trying another blowout bar since this one is really not worth the hassle.

Don’t go to Karen for a blowout unless you want your hair pulled n scalp destroyed with heat. I sat through the entire thing kept thinking .. this is by far the worse experience at a Drybar or any salon of my life for that matter. From the dirty work area, rude demeanor and the worst hair stylist. Karen never checked to see if water temperature was okay with me. She didn’t apply heat protection product until I reminded her. Drybar needs to meet some professional standards while hiring people.
