Stephanie didn’t have to do my hair this good… because now I’m definitely coming back I have thick, curly 4c natural hair (a huge fro literally ) and Stephanie made me feel so comfortable. I was scared and I have a very sensitive scalp but nothing hurt at all. I love the results and it was a great price overall just a great experience 10/10

The Extension Goddess
The absolute worst experience of my life. If you have texured hair don’t bother. Yep i get it i am African american, blonde, with Extensions, I have extremely thick hair and yes it’s not easy. However I am a hairstylist, I have guest with my hair and if your properly trained you should know how to handle textured hair. The stylist… bless her heart rinsed my hair for 2 mins before adding shampoo. I have thick hair i needed my hair to be saturated before washing infact anyone with thick curly hair does. I knew it was all bad from that point. However I was hopeful…. 2.5 hours later My roots were still wet along with my wefts. I added a dry styling and my hair was poofy and not smoothed with the curls. I proceeded to ask for a manager HUGE mistake there, she was the rudest i have ever came across. I wish they wore name tags because i would def. blast her out. She was so rude told me my hair was damaged. She took zero responsiblity or even apologized for me not being happy!! I have never been so insulted!! I have been doing hair over 20 years and I would never blame my salon guest hair on my lack of skills ( if there were some). I took a chance ( something i never do) I heard positive things about this company and this specific location, however you have missed the mark. If your going to advertise and hire for diverse hair please train your staff and please train them on customer service!! I will be calling corporate!!!

The girl didn’t fully rinse my hair and do a good shampooing wash & condition so product was left in my hair & extentions( my scalp became very itchy). I had to make her dry my hair & extentions fully because she wasn’t going to. Then the style fell out before dinner because she had no clue and my was not fully dried. She was lost on how to do long hair with extentions. Beyond disappointing plus I had very itchy hair because of ignorance and paid way too much $$$. NEVER AGAIN

I have been to drybar several times and have had some amazing stylists. I have also been there and some of them weren’t so great… no big deal. However none of their stylists have ever been as awful as Airika. Typically when you get your hair professionally done the stylist will talk to you a little bit about your hair and how you like it. Red flag number 1- I asked for flatiron curls(curls done with a hair straightener) she admitted that she did not know how to do that. Ok moving on we go to the shampoo bowl. Red flag number 2 Airika gave the laziest wash ever. Not enjoyable or effective whatsoever. Ok don’t complain it’s fine. Red flag number 3- we are back at the chair she asks if I am ok with products… I pointed out what I like to use and asked her not to spray the root lift directly on my scalp but rather spray into hand and rub into my scalp. Airika ignores me completely and does the opposite of what has been asked of her. The blowout proceeds she started in the front. A blowout consists of a blow dryer and a round brush which is what was done in the front. Red flag 4- Airika moves to the back completely rough dries (doesn’t use a round brush) the remaining hair. Now for those who don’t know the reason for a round brush is to smooth your hair as it dries, giving you a beautiful shiny finish. At this point I am furious. I excuse myself to the restroom, I returned a few minutes later, she is ready with her curling iron. I asked her to take the rollers out of my hair and that I wasn’t interested in using a curling iron. I asked her what kind of blowout she gave was. She replied with “it’s the one I gave you.” I apologized for bothering her while she was at work. I mean who do I think I am wanting MY hair done a specific way. A client?? I get out of her chair and head to the front desk. And just when I think Airika has reached her lowest point she begins to shout at me literally yelling at me telling me to leave. She is a disgrace to the hair industry. Moving along, the front desk seemed to be a decent young lady she tells me my price.. I am in shock knowing that I’m not paying for this poor service. Front desk agrees with me but needs to confirm with management. Ok no problem. Low and behold it gets worse… The shop managers name is Rakierra, she claims that I need to pay because the service was partially completely!?!? You’re joking right. Like I knew the stylist would do a terrible job. She offered to have me taken care of by another staff member… Right like I feel comfortable staying in an environment where I feel threatened. Needless to say I did not pay. It was the least you could do Rakierra. I would have preferred a blowout, By a stylist who has talent. For everyone reading this please know this is not my usual experience at drybar. Like I said before some are excellent and some are new hairstylists. They at least they try. Airika didn’t try or even listen to what I wanted.

I am a long time DryBar Customer and have a Barfly Double Membership. I have been to the Henderson, NV location multiple times as well as the LV Strip locations and had to wait for my service as long as 20 minutes, but no other issues. I drove into the District on time for a 4 pm appointment at the Henderson, NV location. Unfortunately, there were no available parking spaces. I called to let the salon know, I was here, but struggling with parking, but the phone was not initially answered. At 4:10 pm, I was still looking for parking and called a second time. I spoke to a woman who later identified herself as Rabera. . She told me if I didn’t start my treatment by 4:15 pm, it would be cancelled. I asked for suggestions re: parking and she kept repeating, “If you do not start your service by 4:15, you will not receive it.” She then hung up on me. I literally parked at the opposite side of the District and sprinted to the front desk. I had a special event last night and did not want to miss my appointment. I walked in at 4:13 pm. I gave my name and asked who hung up on me… Rabera was unapologetic in her demeanor and tone, identified herself. I picked up a pen from the front desk and what looked like a scrap piece of paper to write her name down to follow up with a manager on her unacceptable customer service. She loudly chided me on grabbing things that did not belong to me and said, “Sit down or you will not receive service.” I was a few hours from my event which I was going to directly from the salon. If I had another option or Plan B or time to do it myself, I would have left. Despite the strict policy of starting by 4:15, My service was not immediately initiated. I was in tears when I went back for my shampoo and was shocked to learn Rabera was the manager. Instead of relaxing and enjoying this time that I had looked forward to after a long week of taking care of my family, students, and patients, I started writing this review/complaint while I listen listened to her laugh loudly presumably at my expense. The initial stylist did do a good job with my shampoo after the initial consult and she apologized profusely on behalf of the team, but did not do my requested add-on/Barfly perk. Maybe there wasn’t time, but that was not communicated to me. I was then handed off to another stylist,, who worked diligently and quietly to complete the blowout and provide service recovery. I wasn’t thrilled with the blowout, but grateful she was least kind and very hardworking. I have appointments for my daughter and I next week, but I am considering canceling and canceling my Barfly membership if this is the standard of customer service management views as acceptable. DryBar Henderson is setting the bar low these days for experience.

Took my two teens there for a blowout style for Homecoming. Both said the stylists were super rough and it actually hurt especially the one that has real long hair. Hair had lots of stray pieces sticking up and got super tangled by the end of the night probably from all the products put in. Will not be returning Blowdry, Hairstyling

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityMy water heater broke and I haven’t been able to wash my hair for a few days so it is the perfect time to try Dry Bar. I was able to book an appointment online for the same day. It was so easy and user friendly. They were very safe having a COVID form to fill out ahead of time, temperature taken upon walking in, and had me wash hands first thing. They require a mask and explain how to wear it properly.I got the blow out and scalp massage. My stylist was wonderful. Some small talk but not too much. She massaged my scalp (heaven!) and washed my hair throughly. She discussed with me what kind of style I would like and what my hair normally does.We landed on big, bouncy, blow dryer curls that would last a few days. She kept the products to a minimum, which is great for my hair. The results are stunning. Price wise, it was a little more than my normal cut and style with the same results, so I don’t know that it will be a normal thing for me but it is definitely great for a big day or an emergency wash/style! It would be great to kick off a girls weekend.Service: HairstylingMy water heater broke and I haven’t been able to wash my hair for a few days so it is the perfect time to try Dry Bar. Critical: Quality, ValueSuch a disappointment. You go to a place like this for your hair to look like something you can’t do yourself. The girl I had was very, very nice, but has very little skill. My hair was still damp when she was done with me, and wavy on the bottom. She was fresh out of school and had no idea what she was doing, and was very nervous. The manager comped my service, but was also very condescending when I tried to explain why I was a little shocked they would charge $60 for a service that was less than mediocre. She said I could stop explaining myself, that she “got it”. I was being nice, and just thought it could help her to have some feedback. I then asked her if she could recommended anyone that specializes in thick hair (trying to give the place another chance) and she literally spouted off 10 names. So basically everyone except the girl I just so happened to get. And she wasn’t very convincing. I’m a little bummed, because I would have been a frequent customer had I received good service.Such a disappointment. I went to Drybar to try it. It was my first time. I have naturally curly, somewhat frizzy hair. I did a deep conditioning (Mudslide); scalp massage and my style was the Cosmo. I absolutely loved my experience. I had Dean. Amazing scalp massage my hair had lots of body to it. It was silky and looked amazing. I will absolutely be going back!

Good atmosphere, very clean, friendly staff. However, my experience at this location was not great. The girl who did my hair, again, was super friendly but I left with my hair feeling dirtier than when I initially got there. I have very thick and long hair, my wash only took about 5 minutes so I don’t think she got all the shampoo/conditioner out because the very next day, my head was extremely itchy to the point where I had to rewash it myself when I normally go 7-10 days after a wash. Lots of dandruff on my pillow that night (which I don’t ever have,) and my hair did not feel clean at all. My blowout the previous week at Planet Hollywood was phenomenal, which is what made me return to a location closer to home and sign up for a membership. Very disappointed, as I did like the vibe here, but am apprehensive to return to this location.
