This location has truly gone downhill. It’s sad. I arrived promptly at 5:30PM for my 5:30PM appointment to which I was told to ‘Have a seat.’ (My thoughts: Uhhhhh Ok??? Am I checked in? Can you please confirm?)

I had a set appointment and the stylist refused to put on a mask because she said it was a violation of her human rights. I told her I have an unvaccinated toddler so I need some one to wear a mask. She refused. The receptionist told me to wait and she would send me to another stylist. Waited 15 minutes and the new stylist refused to wear a mask despite my request again. She said it’s not a requirement to work here. Now I’m waiting for 30 +minutes to get my hair done for a stylist willing to put on a mask. The receptionist was nice, but the stylists were rude! I will never go back to that location again!

I was excited to take some time and treat myself to a blowout. The service by the stylist was awful. She was exceptionally rough with my hair and scalp – it really wasn’t relaxing. She didn’t ask anything about me and it was super awkward and silent despite me trying to chat so I gave up. I didn’t complain or ask her to be more gentle just kind of went along with it. I picked a beach wave style since I don’t normally do that and was excited to try something new and shared that with her. When she was done my hair was pretty frizzy and when she asked if I liked it, I paused and asked if there was something to do about the frizz and also said I was getting used to the different style. “That’s not my fault.” She said. I was like no no I get that, but your fault – it’s just me getting used to the waves but it is the style I selected. She then responded by saying I should just stick with what I know then and she left and went to the back. Such an awful experience!

I am a frequent dry bar member, especially at this location. I go to this one, Atlanta Buckhead and Midtown locations about 2 times per month and often bring in guests as well. My appointment was at 5:30 PM at the Georgetown location today 9/16 and I got there exactly at 5:45 PM. I called ahead of time and they said they have a 15 minute grace period. When I got in, there was nobody at the front desk. After a couple of minutes, the front desk person said they can no longer do my hair and I would be subject to a cancellation fee. I have been late several times before… like i said (I go almost 2 times a month, sometimes more) and never have I been charged a cancellation fee, nor have I received poor customer service, nor have they said they couldnt do my hair. I got there exactly on time and honestly, will never go to Drybar again after that customer service I experienced from the front desk associate there. She was extremely unhelpful, rude, and unpleasant and will be reporting this to corporate.

I used to frequent this location but after today, never again. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!! The front desk staff is running a scam, targeting the elderly especially, trying to bully customers into paying for a service twice. They don’t care what the card reader shows or what your bank shows, they try to refuse to let you leave until you have paid twice. My poor mother was attacked and yelled at by the front desk staff as they tried to make her pay twice, but luckily she was able to run out before they did anything to harm her. I am hoping DryBar will fire all involved (it was a woman & a man at the front desk running the scam today), and please fix this so that customers can go back to this location without having to worry about being stolen from!

I had the worse experience of blow dry of my life. The lady was rude, no gentle with my hair. She also burned my ears twice and hair was not good. I suggest you find other blow dry locations. Blowouts

If I could give it no stars I would!!3 people waiting for a 7am appointment at 7:15. I couldn’t wait and be late. Asked the Very young girl working the counter to give me a refund and she said she can’t because she’s only worked there 3 weeks and wouldn’t give me her name! Hairstyling

I had a formal that night and went to get my hair blown. They took me, washed my hair half way, and then she looked at my scalp closely and goes “oh no, yea no. we can’t do this. you have wounds on your head and we can’t do your hair because it’s a liability.” i have many problems with this. Firstly, i had two tiny scabs on my head from a previous chemical burn that had mostly healed. Secondly, there should be something to sign (which I asked and they said it wouldn’t be possible) to guarantee i wont hold them accountable for the reinjury of the scalp. Thirdly, They left my hair cold and half washed in winter, and so I had to walk back over a mile with a freezing head if wet hair. Why couldn’t anyone have told me before the wash? It seemed as if she wanted a reason not to do my hair.
