I just finished a blowout/style service at this location and it was so disappointing I felt I needed to leave a review. I’ve visited other drybar locations in the past and have left wonderfully happy with my services/style. I had hoped for a simple wash and style, mainly a beautiful round brush blowout with some bounce, but not curled. What I left with was a combination of completely straight pieces and weird inconsistent curls. My hair looks terrible. There wasn’t any hot tools used on my hair to create a smooth look, until I asked to try to even out the sides – which made it look more weird. I had hoped to make life a bit easier on a Saturday morning before plans later today and I will need to completely restyle my hair to attempt to salvage. I typically have no budget for services and will pay more to get what I want. $55 for what I have, plus a tip to do the right thing, was way overpriced for the finished product. I’m very disappointed and likely won’t return if I don’t receive any follow up from the company.

A friend suggested the Dry Bar to get our hair done the morning of my wedding, 1/14/2023. I read on the website for Drybar that styles took one hour with a braid, otherwise 45 min. There were many great reviews, so i was excited and hopeful. I arrived 20 min early (8:30 apt) with my daughter and was ecstatic they could start right away since I had a tight schedule before the ceremony.

The smell of the product is amazing, it really is the best feeling leaving. It was also raining and they gave me an umbrella to keep! I got the bar fly membership because I want one every week. I have been to this location previously and was satisfied with the service. Apparently, the services are very hit or miss depending on the level of experience of your stylist. The most recent time I went was not satisfactory. I went to get it styled for an event, and went in with dirty hair, knowing that they would wash it, but the stylist do not wash the front of my hair, getting all the way to my hairline. This resulted in a dull, limp and lifeless look overall. I even saw flakes of my dry shampoo still on my scalp. The first attempt at an updo did not go well, so I asked her to redo it as a chignon. She did her best but it was a terrible mess, and my hair looked completely flat, no volume up front, which ruined the whole look. I got home and immediately took it out and rewashed my hair and styled it myself. When I took out the chignon (which was more of a messy bun) I removed a dozen bobby pins that had been shoved in at random. This is not the level of service that I would expect from a professional. Very disappointed. Likely will not return to this business. Unfortunately I did not take photos because I was in such a hurry to take it down and re-wash.

Do not go here. They do not stand by their policies of clients receiving excellent service. The stylist tried to do an up-do and it fell out within hours. When I complained, Customer Service would only issue a re-do immediately (I travel and don’t live in town). Save your $100 on an updo and go somewhere else. Hairstyling
