Stylist was great super informative and amazing. She took her time and was patient with my hair. I have super curly thick long hair and it looks absolutely fantastic 100% recommend and Request Leah if you have thick curly hair ever !!!!

Stylist was not experienced working w more textured hair. Blowout was okay (still puffy at the roots). I did request hairspray to be used but it was way too much and walked away w crunchy curls and the base still being poofy. Way to many passes were used on hair using the flatiron w titanium plates which can cause heat damage. I’ve been to other Drybar locations where the blow dry technique was more advanced and style came out smooth. Will likely not be back to this location.

I am never able to get an appointment becauseI have hair extensions. The manager told me that Drybar is only set up for 45 minute appointments. Please visit the Marina location instead.

Showed up on time for my appointment and was told they were running almost 30 minute late. I had to go to work so had to leave and cancel. I was upset they didn’t just call me to warn me in the AM, as I would never have gone there and could have styled my hair at home. I was one of the first appointments of the day. So, basically, you cannot count on your appointment if you book here – don’t book for any important events! I understand things happen but warning people in case they can’t wait around 30 minutes would be the best way to handle this situation. Now that these are franchised I am seeing a huge difference in quality based on the location.

Critical: QualityMy hair came undone less than an hour after I left. It was so bad. I heard bad reviews of drybar but never experienced it myself. You save money but not the embarrassment of a terrible updo. I asked for a loose messy low bun. The stylist undid it about 5 times and after an hour she just gave up.Please don’t waste your money here.Service: UpdosMy hair came undone less than an hour after I left. It was so bad. Critical: QualityI go to this Drybar every time I have a special event and have been going for years. They used to be amazing and would perfect the look I wanted (which is voluminous curls that look like a traditional “blowout”) but the last couple times I’ve been there over the past year, I’ve noticed I’m very dissatisfied with the end result as they never make my hair voluminous anymore. I’ve explained this issue to the hair stylists I’ve gotten but my hair is only given a few waves that become flat as soon as I leave; there is barely any volume. I would hate to have to go somewhere else as they used to be great but I shouldn’t be leaving a Drybar location with flat hair…….I keep emphasizing I want a voluminous look (I have thick hair so it’s not a question of hair type that could be an issue) and they don’t seem to get it anymore. I used this location for my hair before my sister’s wedding and was left disappointed with how utterly flat it was. Not a fan anymore.I go to this Drybar every time I have a special event and have been going for years. I have been here quite a few times and have been very pleased with results (with the exception of one time where hair was frizzy in minutes). I have long curly and color treated hair and the Bay Breeze shot & Cosmo is my go to! Staff is super friendly and typically gets you in and out in 45 mins – 1.5 hours… I only had one experience where I had to wait nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment time before them starting on my hair… Outside of that – no complaints.

Customer service is horrible at DryBar Culver City! Do not waste your time or money at this establishment. From receptionist to stylist, everyone is rude, angry or just plain unhappy.

I visited this (Culver City) Drybar in June of this year. I asked the ladies at the fount desk if they had stylist who knew how to do hair for African American women, they said, “we do.”
