Horrible place. Emily has no specialization with the clients. My appointment was 8:30 and I arrived 8:45 and she wants me wait 30 minutes to see if the other client gonna arrive to someone be able to do my hair. 30 minutes is more minutes than the time they spend doing my hair plus I needed to wait many times 30 min delay or 20 minutes delay on my appointments before it’s just ridiculous. I’m not coming back here such a waste of my time. Emily doesn’t let the employe do my hair, instead she prefer the employee be in her phone scrolling instagram, ridiculous.

I have been going to this site and the topanga site as well. When it’s good it’s great but when it’s bad it’s bad. I typically know when it will be bad when I start feeling my scalp burned with the blow dryer and my hair being pulled while the blow dryer is being run up and down the stretched hair as if a barber was sharpening an old style razor with it. Ouch! I came out with my hair frizzy! And my hair is really easy to blow dry straight as it only has a slight wave. Please train your people or at least give customers a choice and disclose the person has limited experience or is in training! Waste of money!

Worst dry bar I’ve ever been to. Going here reminded me why i bought a dyson and don’t go to this company anymore. The stylist friend my hair. It’s textured and the fact that they would let someone practice on my hair is super out of line. Another stylist even whispered to me “if you want someone who works with textured hair let me know” and the ladies at the front who were lovely asked if i wanted another stylist thag works with textured hair to fix it. Like why not give me the correct stylist to begin with so you don’t have to “fix” my now fried hair. Zero stars

This was my first time visiting a Dry Bar and I was very happy! I’m not great at blow drying or curling my own hair and walked out very pleased!

Was quite disappointed with my experience at Drybar. They clearly don’t know how to blowout hair that isn’t already straight, which is ironic. My mom and I still had curly roots when we left the salon and one side of my hair was straight and the other wavy. I couldn’t even fix it or go to someone else because I was going to a wedding. At one point, I even had to grab the brush/tools and show her how to do it, which was ridiculous. Never going back and really shouldn’t have had to pay for what my mom and I got.

FOLLOW UP….CAPELINE MCKINNEY…. IT WAS VERY NICE TO RECEIVE AN EMAIL THIS MORNING….CHARGING ME $20 FOR A MISSED APPOINTMENT….YOU MEAN THE APPOINTMENT THAT I SHOWED UP FOR, ON TIME, YESTERDAY? OR WAS THAT WHAT THE $20 WAS FOR: A PUNITIVE CHARGE FOR THE REVIEW? ON TOP OF THAT I SEE ANOTHER $10 IS PENDING ON MY CREDIT CARD. I’M TOLD IT IS FOR A TIP. SERVICES WERE NOT RENDERED. NO TIP WAS AUTHORIZED. EVER. NICE OF DRY BAR TO HELP ITSELF TO $30 OF MY MONEY. YET AFTER OUR EXPERIENCE YESTERDAY I AM NOT SURPRISED THAT THIS IS HOW BUSINESS IS BEING CONDUCTED. It’s 104 degrees outside and there are 0 (zero) customers in a Drybar location that is probably 1,500 ft in space, with a total of three employees inside and my children and I must wait outside, while they only allow one of my children in the store? ITS AN OVEN OUTSIDE. There’s no shortage of space inside where you could have accommodated us while we were paying customers. Yes, the three employees here were just following rules and they didn’t make them which brings me to the larger point of this review: DRYBAR: YOU ARE RIDICULOUS. To which, I am sure, in some prefabricated public relations sound bite or media bit, DRYBAR would respond that they are “required to follow social distancing guidelines as handed down by the government…” To which I would reply that YOU ARE RIDICULOUS. You can use your good judgment… Forcing us to wait outside for 45 minutes in an oven? Seriously. Following rules and laws, right? As a corporation, you collectively deserve to go out of business if you can’t be decent enough to make good judgements as opposed to merely hiding behind “rules and laws.”

I sent my daughter to this location and I am not satisfied on how it was done compared to the locations in West Hollywood and Sunset Plaza. It’s not as straight as how she normally gets it done. It looks rushed. Not satisfied. Please do better when customers are paying. Diverse individuals have different hair types and everyone should get to enjoy so take your time and don’t rush it.

Been to the Calabasas DryBar on 4 or 5 occasions and the blow drys are so below par. On the last occasion I ended up finishing the blow dry myself. The stylist was useless. When u complained I had a poor result from the management – my impression is that they really don’t care dispite asking for my feedback in an email. The rate is also $49 now plus tip. I suggest using Priv (the app) – it’s $50 including tip and they come to your home.
