Drybar – Boulder

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityETA: I spoke with the manager today and she was very understanding and empathetic. She is going to coach her staff and we will be trying one more time with this location.drybar customer service never responded to my email about my experience.I just had a very bad experience at a dry bar. I waited about 10 minutes to be checked in despite coming on time to my appointment. Then I was told I didn’t book correctly for what I wanted. My 6 year old daughter and I just wanted to get matching braids and the stylist was very rude and told me that they didn’t have time to do braids nor did I book braids in the system so they wouldn’t do braids. We also had to wait 10 minutes while the two stylist were chatting with another customer so maybe there would have been time if that didn’t happen. I did not see anyway to book braids with a dry style (my daughter and I didn’t want a blow dry or any other style, just braids) and I just checked again and there is no way to book braids with a dry style. The stylist was not patient and proceeded to curl my daughter’s and my hair even though that’s not what we wanted. This was very disappointing and we won’t ever be back. Another blow dry bar near us (blo dry bar) was incredibly patient and wonderful with my daughter so we will only be able give our business to them. I loved the salon but this was super disappointing as I did try to make sure I booked correctly but it was completely impossible due to the options online and then to have a stylist be unkind was surprising.ETA: I spoke with the manager today and she was very understanding and empathetic. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI had my hair done for my engagement photo shoot because I am hopeless at doing my own hair. Mia was phenomenal, she listened to my concerns (my shoot was 7 hours after my appointment because we had to drive pretty far to get there). I have very thin hair and typically when curled it falls out within an hour or so. I had my hair done for my engagement photo shoot because I am hopeless at doing my own hair. Mia was phenomenal, she listened to my concerns (my shoot was 7 hours after my appointment because we had to drive pretty far to get there). I have very thin hair and typically when curled it falls out within an hour or so.
