I was looking for a same day shampoo and blowout appointment and normally that is rare and HTF, but I got in! My first time at the Birmingham location was simply amazing especially since mimosas were offered and I got a Blonde Ale mask for my hair. Very professional, hospitable and friendly staff and I have a new fave stylist Jackie who gave me the best blowout ever! Got the “The Old Fashioned” for a wedding – it looked so great! I got tons of complements all night and it held really well! (They sprayed it a ton but I also added more spray, maybe too much lol, only because my appt had to be several hours before the actual wedding). It was also done in like 15 min which is crazy to me because I have a lot of hair and it always takes me forever! Also had a complementary mimosa so that was awesome!

Love coming to this location for quick blowouts! I purchased the monthly membership after my first one. Everyone has been especially friendly including both receptionists and the stylists. They are so efficient and I’m in and out in 30 minutes. I usually see Jacqueline and she is amazing!!

I visited Drybar Birmingham for the first time on Friday and I am blown away by my experience. Sarah S was my stylist and she gave me the best looking blow-out and my hair is still bouncy and shiny 3 days later. She was so easy to talk to and made me feel so welcome in the salon. Ashley at the front desk has exceptional customer service skills. I talked to her for quite awhile and she was such a joy to speak with. She made sure I had everything I needed plus helped Sarah and the other stylists. There was another girl at the front desk, I didn’t catch her name, but she was cleaning, stocking product, checking out clients and making sure everyone was happy. She did a great job. Overall I am so excited I visited and can’t wait to go back in two weeks for another blowout with Sarah. Parking was easy – street parking is a $1 per hour or there is a parking deck around the corner from the salon. The salon was clean, the bathroom as well was stocked and clean and everyone was just so friendly. Plus having a glass of champagne while you get your hair done is a great bonus! 🙂 Ashley gave me a big hug when I left and I truly felt like I was part of the family. Can’t wait to go back!

Having been to many Drybars around the country, I can happily say that this one definitely stands up to the brand with perhaps even better customer service than I’ve experienced at others. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating, the stylists are excellent, and the owner, Erinn, is absolutely lovely. She seems to always be in the salon chatting with people and it’s clear all the people working there really like each other, so the vibe is very relaxed. You can always expect to walk out the door feeling and looking better than when you walked in, and the best part is how efficient they are – the whole thing takes under an hour and I have very long, thick hair. Highly recommend!!

I had an appointment scheduled and that morning woke up with a fever. I felt completely fine but thought it was prudent to call the Birmingham location, tell them my symptom and let them decide if they would like me to cancel rather than coming in. They said that I couldn’t come in because of my fever and would have to cancel, they then reminded me of the $20 cancellation policy. I told them I don’t want to cancel but will because of my fever but don’t want to pay the cancellation fee. The staff on the phone said she would put a note in my file the manager would see and I “probably wouldn’t be charged”. WRONG!! After I saw the cancellation charge on my cc I called the Birmingham location on 2 separate occasions and asked to speak with a manager who wasn’t available either time. I explained the situation and asked for a manager to return my call for a cancellation fee credit – no call ever returned my call and the cancellation fee has never been reversed. Be careful when booking at this location as they are unable to follow up on a customer issue.
