I went to Dr Chen for PRP treatment for my face, it was painless and educational. Dr Chen and his staff preped me for the procedure and made sure each step was explained to me to make sure I was ok. He evaluated my face before the procedure to make sure which area on my face needs more attention. He was very gentle on my face and constantly asked if I was ok during the procedure. Afterward I was given a gift bag with all the goodies to take home and they gave me detailed instruction how to take care my face after procedure . After a couple of days, I feel my face is smoother and glowing already! I can’t wait to get the next one and start seeing my face get rejuvenated ! Thank you Dr Chen and your staff at Drmedspa!

First of all, Dr. Chen’s new office space is beautiful! The decor and atmosphere already makes me feel so relaxed! When I came for my PRP, I was greeted nicely by the front staff. Dr. Chen and his assistant Caileigh thoroughly explained each step and showed me the sterilized and newly packed supplies they were going to use on me! I felt very safe, especially during the Covid time. The whole procedure was so relaxing (not painful at all!). And the results! I am now a believer! My skin was instantly glowing and I have been seeing so much improvement in skin texture! I cannot wait to receive my second treatment! I am beyond thrilled such a high end medspa has come to San Mateo! I have been seeing Dr Chen for years for my back and wrist pain. Now that they added a medspa, this is literally a one stop shop! I had PRP of my face done by Dr Chen one month about and OMG, my skin has transformed! I cannot rave enough about the improvement of my wrinkles and pigmentation! The results speak for themselves! DrMedSpa is amazing!!! I got the signature hydrafacial, and the PRP (vampire) facial and omg my skin has transformed! These two procedures, especially hand in hand have helped me SO much with the texture and acne of my skin, and I’m so happy how the results were not only instant, but they have also lasted! Had an amazing experience at DrMedSpa! All the staff were very friendly and answered all the questions I had. I’ve been suffering from acne for 2 years now, I’ve tried over 10 different face washes/toners/acne medications and nothing was working. I would get painful and red acne around my nose and chin area. I received a HydraFacial from Teri and it was such a calming experience! My face instantly looked hydrated and areas where my acne was inflamed decreased significantly. I know it’s not a one time miracle but it really felt like it! I didn’t want to write a review until I continued to see results and I can say that the results 1.5 weeks later are still shocking. I can’t wait to return soon for another treatment and get clearer/healthier skin.

Great staff and overall experience!! Dr.Chen and his staff are very welcoming, and helpful when it comes to any questions that you may have. I wasn’t feeling very well, but after receiving the banana bag IV therapy I felt so much better. I’m super afraid of needles, but Dr.Chen is so skillful I didn’t even feel a thing!

DrMedSpa was definitely a good experience! I got an IV bag called the banana bag and it was super cool! I felt hydrated and refreshed almost instantly. Parking was super easy and the design of the front is super nice. 10/10 would recommend
