Owner Carmen Villagran has over 20 years of experience working in the beauty salon industry. She opened her hair salon in 2007 after having worked at an up-scale Salon-Regis Salon, in Tanforan Mall. Since then, her business has expanded into a full-service salon. The inspiration for the name Dreams came from her aspiration to one day own her own business, and this she has successfully accomplished. The idea of dreams also plays a key role in how Carmen and her staff treat their customers.

Amazing experience. I was taken care of very well by Doris and Norma who worked on my hair color. As I am Asian I have dark hair and they were able to highlight my long hair in such a good amazing of time. I’ve never been this light blonde and I’m in love. Doris and Norma are very sweet and super amazing at what they do. They pay special attention to the integrity of your hair when bleaching and I appreciated that very much!!! A great experience and I am definitely going back for touch ups. The salon stylists really communicates well and listens to what you want.

Carmen and her team are very helpful. I went to get a hair color and after the appointment I thought my hair looked too red for my liking. I went back to the salon the next day and Carmen fixed it for me without charge and gave me some products to use at home and tips for maintaining the color.

I have been going to this salon for Cut & Keratine for a few years. All 3 of the ladies who have done my hair have done an excellent job and the result is beautiful and lasts months. Also, they are very friendly and treat their clients very well. Owner Carmen stays current with the newest and best products out there so I am always confident my hair will look great. I’ve been going to Dreams Salon for about 3 years on the advice of my roommate. We worked nearby in San Bruno and we always get a reliable cut! I know the staff very well and everyone will do you right. I walk in and everyone knows how I want my hair done, but sometimes I throw them a curve ball. 😉 Carmen runs a tight ship and focuses on customer experience. A cut/wash/scalp massage runs about $15 for men. Give these ladies your money, not some chain. It’s not fancy inside but they’ll treat you like a king. Tip well, too!
