Everyone here was pretty nice however I recommend making an appointment if possible. As an early morning walk-in I waited over an hour to get my hair in cornrows 5 cornrows and unfortunately they came out very uneven and extremely tight, a painful process The person offered to redo but I wasn’t able to spend more time at the salon. Adding more mirrors in the salon would also help. Best.

Honestly, 1 star is too much credit. I got my daughters hair done a few days ago and they started to come undone. The ends were not dipped or nothing. I said something the day it got done and the stylist NIKA said they didn’t dip ends because they didn’t have a kettle. Personal problem. If I pay for full service I need to get full service. I also washed, blow dried, and brought hair so since all she had to do was braid and dip the ends I wasn’t seeing the issue. 2 days later when I noticed it was coking undone I called the shop and they were very rude and had to show up unannounced to get service. also called the stylist NIKA and asked for help. She said she was got of town and would call back. No call. No text. I called & got ignored so I went to the shop.

I take my son here and everytime the service is great and prices are too!! I love how there’s always multiple stylists working hard to get clients in and out since they are a walk in salon. Will be visiting again soon! Good job ladies! This is how you run a business! Hairstyling, Dreadlocks

I love this salon. I work on the road and my schedule is never predictable. The fact that I can get my hair retwisted without setting is perfect. I def appreciate all the Queens that work here. Good food options in the area as well

I have Sisterlocks and Malaika, the owner always does an excellent job with my hair re-ties. She sells awesome smelling oils, body scrubs, incense, hair accessories and more. The staff is professional, efficient and they all do great work; whether you have locs or want your natural hair done. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

This salon is way too inconsistent and overpriced. Lackluster “locticians.” Been here 4 times and its gotten progressively worse. I come for retwists on starter locs and these lazy locticians won’t palm roll your locs to the end, so they always look FRIZZY after they finish, they just slap you in the dryer and remove you from it swiftly, so most times the white residue from whatever they twist your hair with is still visible and makes your hair look grey and dirty. Take pride in your job, and stop trying to do 10 heads in a hour and get the job done right. Also these “locticians” need to take classes on how to properly wash a hair, Make sure the water isnt scorching hot also, REALIZE that people have starter locs and have to wait for you guys to clean our hair(You say dont wet or wash our hair), please wash and treat it as such. No reason you should be under the sinkbowl for only 3 mins or less it’s a joke and ridiculous. It’s a small shop, so even when only 7 people are inside its congested and crowded not ideal especially in this covid pandemic. Cant schedule appointments its 2022 get with the times, terrible customer service. 90 bucks for a retwist. Establishment isnt the cleanest. Locticians who act like its their first time doing hair…Too many cons its a tragedy. Gave this place multiple chances and was let down each and every time, do yourself a favor save your hard earned money and go elsewhere won’t get any more of mine.

I went in for a consultation on starter locs. Malaika was very welcoming and very professional. The energy there was very positive! Good vibes. I wound up getting comb coils since I have short hair and need it to grow a bit before I can start my loc journey. I had a very pleasant experience. Hairstyling
