Alberte is definitely the Dread Guru. I just had a pleasant experience from start to end. She tightened up my dreads better than my last artist in less than half the time and for half the price. And despite it being my first time there, I was treated with kindness and familiarity as if I had known them for years. Some other studios told me they may not be able to help me out because I am white and my hair is different but there was no hesitation here. Plus they carry some great products with natural ingredients (and cruelty free). I would highly recommend the Dread Guru to anyone!

We left with tips on care, products were available for purchase but most of all my children left with smiles. Both of them are tenderheaded and our stylest was patient and gentle..cant ask for more! Alberte is absolutely the BEST. When I first started my dreads a couple of years ago, I was going from one place to another until a friend referred me to her. At that point, I was a bit skeptical, especially given it was typically an hour drive for me. Although I sat in traffic from time-to-time, it was worth it. She is reliable, comprehensive, and above all, she cares greatly for her customers. I sincerely recommend her.

I love my 3 year old dreadlocks, but I was having a hard time trying to keep up with them and do the needed maintenance. When my hair isn’t right, I always feel less confident. I was always stressing about trying to find time in my busy work schedule to work on my locs. Finding dreadguru was such a great experience. My daughter had regular hair that was hard for her to take care of. We decided to try dreads and after a days worth of work they came out beautiful. We didnt really know how to take care if them and all the information was provided. She can do so many things with her hair now. The whole house can’t stop staring at her hair. Great shop in a great location. I purchased a retwisting of my locs. The service was fast (in and out in 1.5 hours), and Alberte discussed how to properly take care of my hair which was greatly appreciated.
