Horrible and traumatic experience! I visited Dramatics Salon 57th St. to get balayage treatment for my sister’s wedding. I was excited!! It turned out to be the worst nightmare! Lana is my hair stylist (explained everything from the beginning that my hair is box dyed due to white hair and never bleached etc.) she is very confident that she can do it! Results: my hair didn’t work on the 1st attempt, she redid, bleached more) only the back side after 2nd attempt my hair still did not work so she rubbed some more chemical!! Trying and desperate to make it work it ended up horrible! My hair is extremely dry, breaking and over bleached! Balayage looks ugly! I lived in Florida, the only way to fix the damage they did is to go back there?? Why would i go back to the place that damage my hair?! They don’t want to refund my money!!!!!

The salon accommodated me on the same day for a haircut appointment. The staff (Ocean) ensured that my haircut looks exactly as my sample picture. She diligently blowdried my hair and styled it. The products used for hair wash were great. My bill without tip was around $80 only (excluding the top). I will visit again.

I came in for a walk-in and it was my first time at Dramatics so I didn’t know what to expect. Apollo did a fantastic job with a bangs and layered hair cut and making me feel comfortable with the new hair. I’m really happy with the experience since I arrived here after I wasn’t totally happy with a cut at a different salon since I was trying out new salons in the city. Highly recommend!

The best experience at this salon! My stylist was Lana at 57th location. She was very professional and did such an amazing job. She understood exactly what I was going for. She was very gentle and attentive with my hair. Made sure there was no breakage. I explained I wanted to go for the lightest shade possible as a blonde. She did exactly that. I’m extremely happy with my results. Definitely coming back to her. Finally found a stylist that achieved the look I wanted.

My worsts experience on a salon. I feel bad because they have very good workers, you should make sure the people who work there knows to do the job.
