I went in for tooth gems. This is a procedure I’ve had done at least six times in the last ten years. I made my appointment a week in advance. The tech was not prepared for me when I arrived, didn’t seem to know where anything was, and had to charge the UV light uses for setting the glue. This is a crucial tool for this application. I sat for 30 minutes while he dealt with walk-ins. I asked for two gems and indicated the teeth I wanted them on and placement. He put them on the wrong teeth! And the placement was super low on my teeth, pretty much ensuring those things are going to pop off real quick. I pointed this out and he says he would do two gems on the teeth I actually wanted for free and I could keep the misplaced ones if I wanted. Which he did. And they were super crooked! I had to have him correct this. Symmetry, hello? So… three tries to get what I had come in for. I spent an hour in there for a ten minute procedure. He said he would replace any lost gems for free if lost within six months. Pretty standard. I lost one within a week and a month out I’m down to one of the four he placed. I’m not even bothering going back to have them replaced. Being in there felt like abject chaos.
