My experience at Dr. Hong’s spa was unremarkable. I had my first dermal filler and it went well, the result look better each day. Dr. Hong is a lovely person that is passionate about what she does and ensures her client is satisfied with their results. Dr. Hong has always been extremely helpful and caring. You know she truly cares about her clients. She will work with you to cater to what it is you’re looking for. She recently opened another location in Wellesley in addition to her Newton office. The Wellesley location is managed by the sweetest woman Olena. I’ve been getting Hydrafacial’s with Dr. Hong’s Med Spa for over a year now and I refuse to go anywhere else – I am loyal to her and her team. Go! You won’t regret it!

Positive: Communication, QualityAsk all the questions you have about your skin or any routine. I had hydra facial here a couple of times. They make your skin feel refreshed. I also feel dr Hong uses slightly stronger suction on hard to tackle areas than other skin spas I have been to.

I was hesitant to get a facial during the pandemic, but the space was so clean and I felt like I was going to a high end doctor’s visit – meaning that it’s a crisp/clean atmosphere and I felt so safe. The facial was amazing and after an extensive amount of time had gone by without getting a facial, I felt brand new after. Olena isn’t just good at performing the services, she is also super smart and informative. I left with a beautifully clean, hydrated face, plus a ton of new knowledge about my skin and how to keep up with it. I would highly recommend scheduling ANY services Olena offers. I wish I could give the experience 100 stars verses 5 stars. I was hesitant to get a facial during the pandemic, but the space was so clean and I felt like I was going to a high end doctor’s visit – meaning that it’s a crisp/clean atmosphere and I felt so safe. The facial was amazing and after an extensive amount of time had gone by without getting a facial, I felt brand new after. I came to Dr. Hong to do Dysport through Groupon about a year ago and ended up as a regular client who often comes for fillers, new top of the line laser treatments and Dysport. But recently I decided to try a new cosmetic line that Dr. Hong launched. I have been using it for a month and I am very happy with the results. Upon her suggestion I bought a combined day/night cream and a serum. I am glad that I can use both twice a day and do not need a separate night cream. The quality of the products is very good. It is not greasy, has very subtle pleasant smell and I was able already to see very nice results. My redness on cheeks has gone, my skin tone seems more youthful and lifted and even my pores became a little less seen. The skin is very soft to the touch and look radiant, fresh and toned.Dr. Hong combines the great knowledge of cosmetics and beauty industry that come from her native country, Korea, with very safe and educated Western approach. I always heard great things about Korean cosmetics but my personal experience with Korean products that I purchased online has not been very successful. Maybe it is not very suited for non-Asian skin… I do not know. But at Dr. Hong’s office here I think I finally found products that have all the great potential of Korean skin care but also the safety and benefits of an American product, designed and targeted for both non-Asian and Asian women.
