Critical: QualityI used to go every three weeks prior to the pandemic. I love having Tyna do my nails. Unfortunately the last handful of times i have gone i was with different nail techs and the quality has been awful. I had made a statement about the dips in the surface of the acrylic and was told that it was “shadows” even though I could not only see but feel the dips also on top of that the nails where different lengths and all shorter then i had requested. I hadn’t been back in months due to the same repeated quality and being basically told i was imagining things. Today however i got the same quality and same remarks. My nails are super short, not the right shape, bumpy, and uneven. I attempted to request that they be fixed and was discarded. So i paid the 40$ that it wasn’t worth and left. I love D’Pearls! The shop is Covid clean, the pricing is competitive and the staff are very welcoming. Not only does my nail tech Katy take good care of me, but Tyna (the owner) and all the staff make me feel happy l am there for one of their many services. In some shops you are just a number, but when l go to D’Pearls, they call me by name (even staff who have never serviced me) and make me feel like family. When you have options where to spend your hard earned money, D’Pearls makes it easy to feel they really deserve it and they have earned a loyal customer.

Staff is best I’ve ever interacted with. All super friendly and actually strike up conversation. The guy I had was super sweet, however he cut me and the gel manicure didn’t even last a week. I have another salon that I go to regularly but sometimes I check out other places to see if I’m missing out. Nice place but I have my salon that doesn’t cut me and that my gel lasts over two weeks so I’ll be sticking with them.

I had switched frm my previous salon in Grafton due to their gel polish literally peeling off my nails within days. D’Pearls was my new nail home and I couldn’t have been happier, however, this last manicure really turned me off frm them for good.

My daughter wanted a pedicure for her birthday! She also said she wanted me to get one with her. So a little father daughter pedicure time was fun. Lisa did mine and was awesome! Great place!

I have been here in the past for a pedi and was pleased with the experience. Today I called ahead and we agreed on an appointment time. I arrived on time. I sat for about 10 minutes in a regular chair before I was shown to a salon chair. My feet were placed in a soaking bath and I proceeded to wait for 45 minutes with no signs of a worker being available any time soon to begin my pedicure. And not even a word of apology, or “we will be with you as soon as possible”. Sorry d’pearls. We are finished.

It is now under new management and the color selection is not as good. The girl that I had did a horrible job. She was so rough and left polish on my skin. I asked if I could tip on the card which the manager replied in a super snippy tone and informed me that it was cash only. I asked if there was an ATM and she snipped back telling me go to the convenience store. Never will I return!
