I have tanned in all rooms, even spray tanned, which I really did not like on me, but have seen on others and was very nice. I have used red light bed, this seemed like it might of worked better when I used every day. I also have used the cocoon massage bed and that was wonderful on my tired legs. My main reason for going was to tan, and yes I have been very satisfied. All the services I have used here have met my expectations. I have tanned in all rooms, even spray tanned, which I really did not like on me, but have seen on others and was very nice. I have used red light bed, this seemed like it might of worked better when I used every day. I also have used the cocoon massage bed and that was wonderful on my tired legs. I absolutely love this place.my tan is turning out perfectly. The beds are great, the bulbs are replaced often and every single woman that works here have Been so helpful to me. Very friendly atmosphere.i recommend Down Under to anyone looking to join a salon for tanning. Thanks Ladies….

The customer service is wonderful. The only con is I wish they didn’t have to see my ID each time I come in. It’s makes me feel there is no rapport when clearly the evening workers know me by now. That is the only con I have, other then that all the young’s ladies are pleasant and I never had a bad experience with any of the booths. The place is very clean and comfortable.

Buyer beware. Hidden fees EVERYWHERE! I used this tanning salon in college and recommended it to everyone about 5 years ago. I moved back to the area and decided to go back. You better be ready to sign an agreement through a separate company to have a 6 month contract if you want those low prices (which still aren’t what they seem once they tack on a bunch of enrollment fees.) Would not accept cash payment monthly. Seemed really shady up front. Went ahead anyway because they do have decent beds. Well every month they bill my account and get their payment, but add an additional $25 charge, claiming my card was initially denied, but went through the second time processed. Put in a call but they were of no use. My bank never denied the charge. This salon is clearly running out of clientele if they have to resort to gym tactics of contracts, hidden fees, and shady middle men. Used to be i could just come in, give them my $50 in cash and be square for the month. Like a respectable company.

Ive been to a few different tanning salons over the years. Down Under Tanning has the best staff Ive ever met. Also, The atmosphere is always calm in there. Ive been to salons that are constantly bumping music, I go to relax not dance in the tanning bed.

Make sure you read the fine print, they will charge you for next month if you cancel anyone from the 1- 30th.. So they charge the rest of the month plus next on top of paying the fee and first month upfront in beginning. I was told if i cancelled before the 22nd of the month i wouldn’t get charged the next month but at the end the same person said the whole 1st-30th thing.. not cool
