Doug’s Barbershop owner, Doug Stone is a US Army Veteran of Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. During his time in the Army, he discovered he enjoyed cutting his fellow soldier’s hair. It only seemed natural to continue cutting hair and to build a career out of it after getting out of the Army.

When Doug opened his own business I was quite excited for him, even tho this new location is 25 minutes from my house it’s worth the drive. Doug knows how I like my hair cut, and after 22 years, with some rather disappointing haircuts over the years, I have never had an issue with Doug. Also veteran owned so a great business to support!

I was stranded on the side of the road today in the pouring rain on a friday afternoon. Doug did not hesitate to pull over and help me. I had the wrong jack in my car and was essentially screwed. Doug was prepared and gave me his jack to use. I cannot speak on the haircuts but it must be known that this small business owner is an absolute stand up individual and I believe anything he sets his mind to he is willing to give it 100% of his focus and effort. I was passed by at least 100 cars but he was the one who stopped. That is something that sets him aside from the normal person. He leads by example and it really gave me peace of mind to know there are people like him in the world. I will visit his barbershop soon because that’s the least I could do. Thank you sir
