I have taken my son here for almost a year now. We started as a walk in and now are permanent clientele to Ira. My son has been super sensitive to hair cuts and very picky to how his hair is cut. Ira makes this so easily and my son is able to tell him exactly what he wants. He even is relaxed enough he sometimes falls asleep in the chair. We will be permanent customers and I will recommend them to anyone looking!

I feel bad for those who let their ego get the best of them. I moved to town about a year ago and have had the same barber for 5 years prior to trying out Double Take and understand what it means to be patient when it comes to waiting for a barber whose worth the time. Have never had an issue with making appointments or even getting great service. If you have a question just ask and I promise you will get an honest answer. People need to understand that a great cut sometimes takes great focus which doesn’t leave much room for interacting with others at times. If you have ever had an issue here I encourage the person to look inward to realize what the issue might really be. Great shop and great service enough said.

My sister made an appointment online for 12 pm today for an undercut with a design. She made this appointment 4 days ago & even received a confirmation for it. We showed up 5 min early & was told by another barber that Gina (our scheduled barber) would be there soon. I believe he may have even tried to call her after he finished with his client. Other than that, we received no customer service. Nobody apologized. Nobody offered to help us reschedule. Nobody offered to help us in any way. Nobody asked what kind of cut she wanted etc. We ended up walking out at 12:20 with no sign of her & nobody even looked twice at us as we left. We’ve worked with Gina before & really loved her work but it was a really disappointing experience today.

Another place where the associates think they matter more than the customers. Decided to try this place from a coworkers recommendation. Walked in since no one answers the phone. Was told it would be a short wait. People constantly coming in getting taken care of with no communication from the associates. After every cut they did they would take 5-10 minute break in the back, I have never seen that. Then after waiting 50 minutes 3 associates left. At an hour and 5 min I walked out with still no communication from anyone, the only communication was a barber sneaking glances at what I assumed was a regular to get a cut before the others who were waiting. The associate hid in the doorway then signaled the kid almost as if not trying to bring attention to the fact he was skipping over people. Such an unprofessional environment. On top of all this there was a young child running back and forth through the establishment, drinking stuff, playing with items… the female barber had to stop cutting a young guys hair to give the girl hand sanitizer because she was running around touching garbage cans.With the lackluster effort this place seemingly put in just go to man shop. They are friendly, receptive, and still you let know how long the wait will be and don’t take unnecessary breaks. I wanted to try something new, and I have tried every place in town except Double Take, but it was underwhelming and the service had I of waited for however much longer would not have been worth that type of interaction.

Best barber shop in town by far! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. Their service is second to none. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about what they do. Never been in barber shop that has the level of atmosphere they have. I would 100% recommend to anyone.

My son got his hair done here we walked in and walked out very happy at his new hair – absolutely the best in town. It is a little hard to get in if no appointment the wait can be long at times but totally worth it. Ied schedule but no number that I can find to do so. Haircut
