I was able to get a same day appointment- did a wash & set. My hair came out so shiny and beautiful! This is an authentic Dominican salon with skilled workers, not everyone has the touch but these ladies definitely do! Will be coming back regularly now, I’m so glad I stumbled upon this gem!

This is by far the best value and service ever! the owner Ms. Carlin is passionate about what she does especially when it comes to hair care. I trust her with not only my own here but my 77 year old mother and my 3 daughters. We have been going to this salon for ab6 7 years. we moved to California 2 years ago and now whenever we come back to visit Fort Myers (3-4 times a year) we make a special trip and an appointment just to see Ms. Carlin – no one does it like she does!

There are no words…. I am back to explain why I gave 1 star. I have long beautiful hair, and I just wanted layers so my hair would have more body and volume. I showed the stylist a picture and she began telling me that my hair already looked like that so why did I want a haircut. I guess that should’ve been the red flag. She kept asking me where I want the layer. She brushed my hair into a ponytail and made two snips let my hair go and told me my hair was going to look great. I was freaking out at this point and I told her I didn’t feel comfortable with her finishing my haircut. If you want a better idea of what she did to me search home haircut on YouTube. Geeze it was bad. I’m going to post a picture a few weeks after the haircut – I brushed my hair forward, you can see how uneven it is bc she just chopped it and effed up my ends really bad. I noticed how awful it was every time I straightened my hair. Oh and that’s another thing. She asked if I wanted my hair blow dried and I asked why is it an additional charge? She told me because I have so much hair it would be an additional $40. And she was hating on me for being Mexican American. Awful service straight up joke. I’m pretty sure their licenses are forged. I ultimately went to a prestigious hair salon to get it fixed. Dominicano Beauty Salon I’ll never forgive you for this!

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityIt’s so hard to find a salon that can do quality work. The hair dressers here produce exceptional work, however! To give an appointment and when the appointment time comes you put someone else in the chair is not only unacceptable but down right ridiculous. I completely despise hair dressers that waste people’s time. The services I’m paying for are not discounted so I think the customer should be respected enough that the salon honors the appointment. LOVE IT! It’s hard to find a genuinely good salon that knows how to straighten and style hair with the Dominican techniques that only work for my hair in SWFL… So happy with my results! This place is pretty far for me located in North Fort Myers, but honestly it’s worth the trip from how soft and silky my hair feels. Will definitely come again!
