Critical: QualityShowed up for the first time here hoping the positive reviews from here were true but unfortunately not so much. I came to get a haircut, I sat for two hours without anybody saying a word to me then decided to leave after the guy was cutting the same persons hair the whole time and they were already closing. Super slow, I can’t say anything about the haircuts themselves because I didn’t get one but the service was not so great. Would recommend going somewhere else where they work a little faster. I’m sure they take their time to make it look nice but two hours ? Showed up for the first time here hoping the positive reviews from here were true but unfortunately not so much. I came to get a haircut, I sat for two hours without anybody saying a word to me then decided to leave after the guy was cutting the same persons hair the whole time and they were already closing. Super slow, I can’t say anything about the haircuts themselves because I didn’t get one but the service was not so great. Would recommend going somewhere else where they work a little faster. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI absolutely love this place. I recently moved to this side of silver spring and when I called Kevin was very professional and understanding of what I wanted for my son he scheduled us to come see him on a Sunday when we got there he had someone in the chair but acknowledged us when we walked in. When my son got in the chair his priority was him he talked to my son he listened to my son and did I not mention the haircut even tho it was just a low cut with a shape up he made sure it was a quality haircut he took his time made sure I loved it and my son. I’m thankful that I found Kevin not only his he a great barber but he gives 1000 percent to whoever is in his chair excellent customer service. This will be my son barber from here on out.I absolutely love this place. I absolutely love this place. I recently moved to this side of silver spring and when I called Kevin was very professional and understanding of what I wanted for my son he scheduled us to come see him on a Sunday when we got there he had someone in the chair but acknowledged us when we walked in. Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismIt looks like they do right by their regulars. Waited over an hour for a custom toddler cut with a design. They refused to cut it. Either their skill was lacking for the design, or they didn’t want to make the effort. Either way for a $30-35 price point for a toddler cut neither should be the case. Barber did say the design would take him a half hour guess his time was more valuable than mine. If anyone can recommend another place it would be appreciated. I’ll post the picture of the cut and the new place on a follow up review once done. They also don’t sweep between cuts looks like they prefer leaving hair piling up on the floor than making the extra effort. Their cuts do look solid but the devils in the detail. I’m sure they would’ve earned a 5 star review if they did the work.Update:Went to Finos barber shop in Wheaton great service did make an appt online there online appt system is great easy to use. Might have made all the difference had I made one here still doesn’t account for the cleanliness issues or the dismissive service. Payed $50 at Finos but worth it design was custom and legit. The barber at Dom power did say he’d charge extra so I believe the price is equivalent. Look it up if you looking for a similar competitor. It looks like they do right by their regulars. Waited over an hour for a custom toddler cut with a design. They refused to cut it. Either their skill was lacking for the design, or they didn’t want to make the effort. Either way for a $30-35 price point for a toddler cut neither should be the case.
