Since I moved back to Stamford I have been coming to this salon. Gisele is amazing always super sweet and friendly. All the stylists are great. I would never go anywhere else. The atmosphere is always nice and the salon is always clean. I have recommended a few friends there now they love it as well. 5 stars hands down. Thank you Dominican Girls Beauty!

Always make sure to get the price of the service you want right before you start, on any given day the price could increase for the same service done. I started going there a few months ago and every time i get the same service they change/increase the price depending on who you are and how busy they are that day. They make the prices up as they go. The hair stylist did a good job, but i heard them whispering in Spanish right before charging me an extra $20 from what they told me the price would be just a week prior.

This is the best hair salon in Stamford! I’ve been coming here for 6 years and I don’t trust anyone else with my natural hair. It has grown so much and gotten so much healthier since I started coming here. I can’t stress enough how much I trust them, they’re so accommodating and understanding as well. All of the women in the shop are exceptional but Gisette is my go to! She understands my hair like no one else! I will NEVER stop coming here!

I walked into the salon with a smile and excited because I was going to get my hair done after a month of not having time for myself…. Once I walked in everyone stared at me with a serious expression without say a thing. I finally broke the stare and said I was here to get a wash & set, one of the girls just looked at me and continued to sweep the floor, another kept eating and the other that was busy doing a costumers hair answered and said “okay” and said nothing else. I sat down thinking maybe they needed a minute to gather everything because the salon was not busy at all… besides the other customer getting her hair done there was no one else but me. There was like two other hairdressers in the salon that was free. After about 15-20mins waiting without no interaction what so ever and other people going in and out of the salon. I finally walked out. I was so upset of wasted time. When I got to my car, there was a gentlemen that called out to me from the salon at the corner. He asked if I was there to get my hair done and if so I can come back because the one of the hairdressers was ready…. But I told him no thank you. I just found another salon in Stamford and I’m so glad I did.

Front desk staff was nice but the rest of the staff was very bland.. From the moment I walked in, I asked “how much”? All she said was; have a seat. I asked again, no response. Silly me proceeded to sit, thinking; how much can a wash & set be? After almost 2 & 1/2 hours of prepping and sitting under them dryer, I was ready to get my hair blown out only to have to wait another 20 + minutes for Evelyn to finish her client who came in way after me. Evelyn went to get another hairstylist to ask for assistance and instead, that hair stylist went back outside to chit chat instead of helping! So much for team work! After all that; I was charged $45.00. For a wash & set! I hope they enjoyed getting it, because that’s the last time I’ll ever go back!
