Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI moved to the area about a year ago and didn’t really want to keep going back to Richmond to get my hair done. I tried several other dominican stylists in the area, but was never really happy with the results. Yanet did an amazing job. She even had several heads in front of me but I didn’t feel rushed! She took her time with my hair. My hair feels and looks amazing and she actually trimmed my ends and didn’t end up cutting my hair. Thank you very much, I will be back very soon. I moved to the area about a year ago and didn’t really want to keep going back to Richmond to get my hair done. I tried several other dominican stylists in the area, but was never really happy with the results. Yanet did an amazing job. She even had several heads in front of me but I didn’t feel rushed! She took her time with my hair. My hair feels and looks amazing and she actually trimmed my ends and didn’t end up cutting my hair. Thank you very much, I will be back very soon.

The customer service is the worse. It’s difficult to communicate because the stylist speak and understand very little English and I speak and understand very little Spanish so that barrier seems to cause the stylist to have a nasty attitude. They wave their hands at you in a dismissive manner when you telling them that the dryer is to hot and it’s burning your scalp or that you hair is dry. I’ve been 3 times and each time they were rude.

I have gone quite a few times, My first having my hair done “blow out” and I had no expectations, My hair came out very straight and it costed bout $45 dollars (but ive heard others have paid less?) – my hair was so dry and it caused breakage afterward. =/ Waaaay too hot even for a Dominican blowout.

Its ok for the most part as long as you are clear about the services you desire. I wasn’t happy yesterday. I got there at 6pm, to make a long story short at 7:30 my hair wasn’t dry on the ends…but she removed me from the dryer and styled my hair anyway. By the time I got home my hair was bushy like I’d never been to a salon. The deep conditioner was perfect tho…

Horrible experience. This is my FIRST review ever. I do not like bashing on other people’s business, but wow, if you are reading this, go somewhere else. These ladies need social skills. They are rude and socially awkward. I had the last chair lady; short, obese, and mouth-breather. Not trying to insult, but unfortunately, I didn’t get her name, and these characteristics are what I remember. She kept burning my ear with the hot brush and pulled my hair so hard, that my scalp still hurts, 2 days after. NEVER AGAIN!

I went on a Saturday to get my hair done at this shop. Before she started my hair I informed the short fat one that I had psoriasis in the scalp but it was fine because I get blow outs all the time…well she then goes to I guess who was in charge and they both came to me speaking whatever language they speak….and the woman in charge points to my scalp and says “nasty nasty” and refused to do my hair that day…and the shop was full of people…I will never in my life go back to that shop…!!!! They don’t deserve this one start I’m giving them but it’s the only way I can post!!

I broughtmy daughter to this salon for a blow out back in november. The day after thanksgiving to be exact. The blow out was absolutely beautiful. It was very pricey costing $55 but none the less i was pleased with the reults. My daughter was however concerned that they used quite a bit of heat. My daughter has since washed her hair several times and has not been to any other salon since then and her hair still has not returned to its natural texture. It is my belief that they used some type of straightener on her hair. I called to the salon and ms janet (who also refused to give me her name another of thr stylist in the shop told ne her name) who claims to own the shop answers the phone. She told me they only used cantu shea butter leave in conditioner on her but was not able to tell me why my daughters hair has not returned to her natural texture. My daughter told me she use something in gray bottle with a red top. Cantu products dont come in a gray bottle. When i told her she was not being honest about the products she is using she hung up the phone and wouldnt answer it anymore after i callee. I even called from different numbers. I am not done with this shop. I will be reporting them and i will also being going into the shop to get further answers about the products used. I dont encourage anyone to go to this shop. They will ruin your hair!!!! Bad business practices at its finest.

Worst experience I have ever had in my life. Terrible customer service. I paid $25 the first time I got my hair done which included wash, dry and flat iron. All I was getting today was a wash and blow dry. they tried to charge me $55 and told me that’s what I paid last time. I pulled up my receipt and the lady got VERY rude and disrespectful towards me and told me to go.

The lady in the first chair is the WORST one! She rips and pulls your hair and is way too rough. No ones head should be hurting after you get it washed from her ripping it apart. I had a lot of my hair come out while there because she has no concern for your hair.

Bad experiences going there! The lady isnt friendly when I walked in. I dont feel welcome. I told her I’m deaf and explain what I want my hair done. She washed my hair too rough! Got my face wet and had to wipe my face with towel like 15-20 times! After shampooing, she tapped my right shoulder really hard like I’m a dog. I sat on the chair was feeling uncomfortable and shocked. I told her she should be gentle tap my shoulder not too hard. She dont communicate me like she dont care like what I need to do sit down or sit under blow dryer whatever. I typed on the note on my phone to tell her I dont understand, please repeated again because I’m having trouble reading her lips and do not want put my hearing aids on while my hair was soaked wet. She said no. She told me put your hearing aids on. I was shocked and offended when she said that to me. I noticed she was doing my hair I didnt tell her to. She misunderstood me and talking to her friend like I cant hear her. I was so upset and told her I dont feel comfortable and welcoming because of this. I walked off while my hair was wet without pay her! DONT go that salon!!! No good!!! Not friendly salon. Find a better salon! I dont treated from them at all!!!!
