I went here to get peekaboo highlights done. My stylist was Isis M. and I can’t say enough about the great job she did! She was nice and easy to chat with throughout the process, which was quite long thanks to my thick hair. Isis was detailed and worked hard to create the look I wanted. Really enjoyed coming here and working with her!

Haven’t cut my hair in a year since moving to SJ as I was nervous about having to find a new hair dresser. I read reviews and took a chance on Dollhouse and I’m so glad I did. The inside is beautiful and the vibe is chill and fun. Everybody is having a good time. It was really relaxing and Nicole did a great job with my hair. I absolutely love my stylist Jonathan H. He’s very attentive and listens to all of your concerns and wants for your hair. He makes sure to perfect your hair like a work of art and always checks in to see how you feel about the process. Hes amazing with color, knowing what shades will match you best and infirms you how to care for your hair afterwards. I always feel gorgeous and confident as I leave each appointment. I cannot reccomend him enough! 10/10.

This used to be a great salon, the quality has really declined over the last year. The prices listed on their website/app are not honored in the salon. The last two times I’ve gone in a for a bang trim, I’ve had to go back in and get them fixed by a different stylist and was charged again even though they were fixing their stylist’s mistakes. I wantedy bangs trimmed above my eyebrows, I walked out with bangs still in my eyes, some bunches a good inch longer than other bunches. It was a horrible trim and the stylist didn’tisten to what I wanted at all. When I went in to get them fixed, I was charged again as though this was a new cut. Shady. I wouldn’t use this salon again, which is a shame. They used to be amazing.

I made an impromptu decision to get a haircut and googled about best hair salons in San Jose and Dollhouse salon was on the list. I called them and booked an appointment. I had medium length hair and wanted to get a long bob kinda haircut but I was super nervous about it. However, Isis, my hairstylist took good care of me and gave me the assurance that it will look nice on me. She was precise and gave me the cut that I wished for. She didn’t rush at all and took her time to give me the perfect cut. I 100% recommend her. Thank you, Isis!

Angel gave my curly hair a great haircut. She was friendly and highly informative. She showed me exactly what to do to have”a good hair day” everyday. I highly recommend Angel for curly hair. The stylist was nice and detailed, however, the salon charges for every single thing. An appointment that would be ~ $200 anywhere else was $400 here. Which, if it came out better, I wouldn’t have felt it was a rip off. However, I specifically said I do not want copper or red tones in my hair, and now there’s a ton of red on my hair from her balayage technique (or most places would just call this highlights bc this is not balayage elsewhere as that’s what I came into the salon with). The transition between hair colors is harsh and goes from brown, copper red, to an ashy blonde and looks terrible. I definitely won’t be going back and will be irritated for the next 6-8 weeks until I can see a different salon.
