Critical: ProfessionalismThe haircut was mediocre – nothing amazing and nothing awful. Rylee informed me that she would be unable to blow-dry my hair due to new Covid-19 restrictions, which is understandable. My regret comes from the poor customer service. I found Dolce Vita on Groupon and when I called to make an appointment, I was informed over the phone that I could simply pay the Groupon price, at the discounted rate Groupon was offering that day, directly to the salon instead of purchasing. I took a screenshot to confirm. On the day of, when I went to pay, I was informed that I could only pay the original Groupon price. Normally this is fine and wouldn’t bother me – but the Groupon also states that there would be styling included? If this isn’t possible, where is the courtesy to reduce the price, even if it’s just to the discounted Groupon? In fact, where is the courtesy to confirm with the customer ahead of time that she won’t be able to use the full Groupon and give the customer and option to reschedule for a later, more appropriate date? I was not informed when the salon texted to confirm the appointment and felt very misled here. Rylee’s comment that “it’s only a few dollars more” is unappreciated as well. My regret comes from the poor customer service.
