I had only gone to Dolce Nail a few times and only had French manicures so far. One time the gel on my one thumb chipped after three days so I went in and had it fixed. The other two times the gel on my nails started to look cracked after only three days. This is odd because I only work a desk job and there’s no reason for this to occur. The one time I didn’t say anything about the cracks because I thought it was only a fluke. Every time I had been in there I had a different person doing my nails and each one did the French manicure differently (no steam lined process). After this last time of having cracked gel after only three days I called and I was asked to come in so they could help. At this point six of my ten nails had cracks in the gel. I spoke with Jessica (co-owner of the salon) when I went in and asked for the manicure to be re-done with a solid color since it’s obvious that the French wasn’t working out. She said she’d have to charge me if I didn’t get the French again. I said I wanted the entire manicure redone at this point due to having so many nails cracked. She said no and that she was only going to fix the affected nails. This is a lazy approach and I didn’t appreciate this after paying $45 for a manicure. I told her no thanks, I’m not paying for something that you should correct. I finished by saying I’ll find another salon. She didn’t even attempt to stop me or rectify the situation. If you want a manicure that will last, my advice is to not come here. I’m including photos below of the cracked gel nails.

I usually don’t review, but, in this case, I thought a bad review was more than well deserved. I gave them a chance in that I got 7 manicures there, hoping each time that it would get better. The owner and non- English speaking-employees could not come across as more disinterested and their manicures reflect that. Also, they blatantly treat you like you don’t matter, showing up very late or telling you that they can’t do your nails that day after you drove all the way over there. No apologies and not a one-time event. Certainly a very unique way to run a business, one where I won’t be wasting my time and money in the future.

Emma was so great, she answered my million questions, was super easy to talk to & didn’t let me feel dumb for not knowing how to order lol. She gave me great advice on how to maintain & even painted a little spider web on my thumb!The place itself is very clean, sophisticated & well kept. I have patronized this salon five times. Last visit the two women did not smile, did not greet me and gave several pricing. I was a little upset of my treatment. The accent was inexcusable, when I asked pricing detail and total. I was overcharged for services when complete, the two women could not confirm the same price. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

Wouldn’t recommend getting tips here. Went on a saturday paid $90 f0r a full gel tip set (highest I’ve paid in the five years i’ve been getting my nails done) less than 24 hours later FOUR nails have broken off. i wasn’t even doing anything to cause breakage to them. the owner fixed them free of charge but I noticed this place puts the tip on at the very top of the nail rather than in the middle like other places. two other people in my group have broken nails as well all from just scratching their heads! i’ll be sticking to my normal place that was booked when i originally needed my nails done way too expensive to risk having your nails break for breathing the wrong way and then working your schedule to get them fixed.

I had an appointment and the woman took someone else before me after I showed up. I asked for tips on 4 of my nails and they told me they would do nail extensions instead. It wasn’t until I went to pay and my total price was much higher than I expected to pay for a manicure that they told me the nail extensions were $10 each. Not to mention the extensions look terrible. They weren’t filed down evenly and look very different than my other nails. Overall not a good experience and I will not be back.

I have been coming to Dolce Nails every 3 weeks for 3 years now and NEVER had any issues. Julie has been doing my nails and is the absolute BEST!! My nails don’t break or chip, ever. Julie recently gave me a French pedicure and it stayed on “perfectly” for 4 weeks! I highly recommend this salon.

I will only ever go here for a pedicure. The staff is friendly and attentive and they do a wonderful job. Other places have seriously messed up my nails. I know I can trust these guys, and their prices are better than many of their competitors in the area. Try to go during less busy times, obviously, but you won’t regret it.
