I made an appointment for Wednesday for butterfly locs. Then hours later I get a text from her saying she’s off Wednesday and Thursday. So I texted back and asked for a different date. I’m still waiting for a response. No apology, no trying to reschedule my appointment, and definitely no mention of getting my deposit back.

First and foremost, I want to say that I hate to leave any bad reviews on another woman minority-owned business. I too have my own business. That being said, I have to write this review to warn others of her unprofessionalism. If you are looking for your neighbor around the way that can do your hair, feel free to try her. She took advantage of me, the work was falling apart 2 days after it was done, I had hives down my back, and I tried contacting her many times with no response. I finally made a retouch appointment thibking I would guve her a chance. She kept about 6 bundles of my hair with a promise to fix . She completely took advantage of me. This was a lessened learned for sure!

Lycia was quick and knowledgeable. I originally wanted individual crochet Locs but when she told me about how long they last we decides to do cornrows. I’m glad I did. My hair is full and natural. She isn’t like others who have the knot showing. I used 7 packs of nu locs for this look. She even put accessories in my hair for free. Wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Location is great. But the service with Lycia is terrible. Her work is good but the drama is not worth it DONT know where to begin but I have several complaints. Go there at your own risk. Other stylist there are good and have great service but as far as the owner she makes others look bad. Just heads up it’s a new year you want great service period. Made several appointments and they failed I wouldn’t even waste my money there unless it’s with the other stylist or the barbers and I not even a male. I called and asked her for another appointment she texted back with drama be very aware of this lady I already have a review on Styleseat let alone here ..
