I loved the historical feeling of the salon’s location. I felt given time I would have loved to have gotten lost there and the surrounding area. The history is richly felt there. I appreciated that my stylist took his time with me. He truly heard me about my preferences and skill set when it comes to hair. He took his time working with my hair and made me feel like a priority. I really appreciated the service I received there BUT the icing on the cake was later that evening when I saw my husband and he said, “You look pretty.”. My husband isn’t one to dole out compliments so I knew I hit a home run going to this salon.

This shops it’s self is a beautiful historic house in Old Ellicott city with dedicated parking right outside of the door. This was my first experience with a dry cut at a professional salon and I have to say I will not go back. I felt inspired, empowered, and pampered throughout my entire experience. If you have curly hair this place is a must!

This salon is great. Hands down. It felt more like a spa experience vs a hair appointment. The atmosphere is relaxing with ambient lighting in some spaces and soft music in the background. The staff were attentive and personalized my visit, made sure that I was comfortable and even made sure I had the correct tools to use when I got home and have to take care of my style. I highly recommend and I know that I will be making another visit soon.

Great service, attentive hairstylist. Dawn the owner is excellent both in talent and customer service. Juliet has also done a great job cutting and styling my hair. They specialized with all types curly hair. Helping to not only cut curly hair the way it should be, but also take extra time to teach you how to work with your hair to achieve the look at home.
