I love to support this place, because it is run by a single mom—— I think that is very valuable to our community to support places like that . The attention to detail on my nails is only something I’ve had one other time in Austin at a place called banana nails.

I’ve used this place many times. Mostly for pedicures. I got dip nails here once and the color came out really uneven and the nails were thick, so I figured I’d just go for pedis. Then last time I was there they made my French tip pedicure very uneven, some tips thick, others thin and I had to ask them to make them match, which I thought was sort of implied when paying extra for French. Then today I gave them a final try. They didn’t offer us the different levels of pedi, only basic. No foot/leg rub to speak of, just barely applied a little lotion. I had old clear polish on my nails that was chipping and they didn’t fully remove it, just filed the top a bit and painted over the old clear polish! Then they only used a single coat of polish, frankly I could have done a better job myself. I’m never going back. What a waste.

First nail salon I’ve been to in Austin since moving here. The techs were really nice and actually took their time. They weren’t just trying to get you out of there. It was a nice, relaxing experience. My feet look and feel so good. Will be going there again!

I was very pleased with the pedicure itself. However, it took too long. I was there for almost two hours. In their defense, I came in when they were quite busy, but they also told me to come in 30 minutes before close on a Friday night. I will be happy to come back but maybe early on a Saturday or a random weeknight instead.
