Very good salon and very friendly staff. Michelle has been braiding my hair for about 6 months now. The first time I called, they were able to give me an appointment on very short notice. Michelle is a very creative stylist and I always really like the way she braids. Very professional and courteous. I will be using this shop for a long time!!!!

I wouldn’t recommend it! I’ve been to them for the last 3 times I got my hair done. The first 2 were okay, but this last visit has made me not want to go there anymore. I had went to get box braids and it took 9 hours and two people to do my short braids. It shouldn’t have taken that long, but the first lady kept taking breaks and talking on the phone. The other lady had went through 2 other customers and then came to help the first lady. Then 2 days after I got my braids done I had 6 of my braids fall out. Then Today I woke up to my whole scalp red and swelling up. I had to take them out. When I called to see if I could get a partial refund I was told that it could not happen and that it wasn’t anything that they did. I

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI always go to Divine for my hair. I constantly get complemented on how good it looks. She always stops multiple times and lets me look at myself in the mirror to make sure the style is to my liking and makes any changes, if necessary. I consider myself tender-headed and she does not braid too tight at all. If you’re more tender-headed than me, you just need to ask her to loosen it up and she can do that too! I think it comes from the fact that she frequently braids children’s hair because I’ve never had braids this comfortable the same day! She always stops multiple times and lets me look at myself in the mirror to make sure the style is to my liking and makes any changes, if necessary. Divine Hair Braiding on Lakeside Ave, is RHE BEST hair braiding salon I have been to in a long long time. The location is perfect and I don’t have to drive so far out. The owner is a sweetheart, she cares about her work, very professional, the salon is clean, and she follows the COVID guidelines. She do ALL braiding styles. This is a great hair shop. She was on time, professional, and took the time to make sure the style was done correctly and securely. Key points that I liked about the process are the parting, placement of braid, special attention to edges, and she ties and dips the braids at the end. Would recommend and worth the price. It was my first time coming to divine. The lady who did my Knowles was about 25 minutes late but she was really nice. Divine is lore expensive than the lady I go to in Maryland but the lady who did my hair did a good job on my hair. She took her time and always checked to make sure I approved of her work. Braids

This was my first time visiting. I came based off of the positive reviews, and was not disappointed at all. She was even able to squeeze in my other daughter’s hair (who’s very tender headed) on the same day and my baby girl fell asleep opposed to hollering like she does when I braid her hair. I will definitely return to save time, and to have a piece of mind. She braided both of their heads in less than 8 hours.
