I came across Dr. Sonya a year or so ago when researching doctors in Canada who were coached by Dr. Daniel Pompa. At that time, I was experiencing peri-menopausal symptoms such as lack of sleep, low energy, hot flashes, and mood swings. I also had ovarian cysts for which I was advised to have a hysterectomy as a measure to prevent future malignancy. Dr. Sonya suggested getting specific tests to see where my body was at this stage. Based on the results, she then put me on a course of supplements and suggested lifestyle changes like nutrition, self-care, stress management and alternative healing modalities such as Reiki, visualization, and others. Dr. Sonya treated me holistically and addressed root causes, not just my symptoms. Following her suggestions and treatment, I do not need surgery for the ovarian cysts anymore. My energy and sleep have improved, and my new test results show an improvement in my hormonal balance. Dr. Sonya genuinely cared and took the time to listen and explain things to me in terms that I could understand. She is very knowledgeable, non-judgmental, empathetic, passionate, and confident with her prognosis.
