I used to patronize Devine Designs for several years to get my nails done. Always had a great experience. I recently purchased a package for my daughter during the holiday. Let me first say, her massage was wonderful. That’s where it ends. The manicure and pedicure were terrible. It looked rushed and unprofessional. For that reason, I will not be back or purchase another gift package.

I have used this salon a few times because they are one of only a couple that use the hair color product that I use.. The first couple visits were good but this last visit was the worst. The color was great but that is the only good thing from this appointment. I am absolutely & completely disappointed with the hair cut that I received. This is the absolute worst hair cut I have ever had!!! I don’t feel as though the stylist even cared what I wanted at all. I wanted it cut about a 1/2 inch to an inch & lots of layers that blend well. She cut off about an inch & there are layers but NONE of them blend, they are all over the place. She straightened it & “gave it volume” which I didn’t ask for & styled it in a way that she wanted not what I wanted. There were 2 other I guess training stylist that attempted to dry my hair at the same time, 1 working in one area & 1 working in another. Not something I wanted or asked for. The stylist then came back & re-wet my hair to show them how to dry it for “volume” and all away from my face which is not what I wanted or asked for. I couldn’t even comprehend what was going on. I’ve never had this happen before. The stylist then just finished drying my hair the way she wanted, got done, showed me the back & was like ok we’re good & had me take the protective cover off & said thanks & walked me out without asking if I was happy or if it was what I wanted or anything. And honestly I have never been so disgusted & hated a hair cut so much in my life. And I won’t even get into the absolute disaster of the checkout on that day. Not sure I’ll ever go back again.

Divine Designs is a Salon/Spa where there are many talented providers. The products and services there are the best around. Unfortunately, loyal guests who have been receiving services for nine and a half years, are nothing more than a number and a cash cow to upper management. Providers too are not treated with loyalty from management. That’s not to say management does not do nice things for the providers, they do. But at the end of the day it’s all about the almighty dollar and that has driven away some very talented people who made it worth coming there.

I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. Not only is the owner inconsiderate of his employees but also his guests. My mother and I booked our appointments weeks ahead to ensure that we would be seen at the same exact time for our “Make my day” packages which are by no means cheap. Upon arrival we signed in a waited to be taken back where we got to change into robes. We then sat and waited to be grabbed by our therapists. My mother was taken back on time… I however sat there and waited an entire 15 minutes after my original appointment time. So I asked when my therapist was going to be grabbing me as i was already 15 minutes late into my appointment time.I was then told that my appointment was at 145 not 130 which was not true and i had the email to show it. After our treatments were done we were then brought up front to check us out.. i complained about the appointments being moved without saying a word to us when we checked in and was told that he had to move my appointments because he overbooked it. Unfortunately that is not a clients problem and the client should always be informed of any changes made to their appointments especially if you arent sure if they have made plans according to the schedule they booked. I was then told the best he could comp me for my inconvenience was a $10 treatment on a $240 package. i had upgraded my pedicure to gel polish so i knew i had to pay out of pocket for it.. $25… so if you take 10 off thats 230 which means i should only be paying 15 out of pocket at that point… but yet the total kept coming up to 23…why you ask? bevause they dont tell you that if you are paying with card it adds a service fee of 3%… 8 extra dollars added on. all small little fees they dont like to inform you about while you book or check in or anything. theyd rather you figure the math out and just be okay with it. With no heads up that hey if you dont wanna be charged extra you should bring cash. The sarcasm and attitude alone was enough to set me off. Let me also not mention i then recieved an email after my appointment that services are no longer available for my mother and i … of course after taking about $600 from us without a problem…
