My braids were done exactly as the braids I showed them in the picture. It was done so well, it lasted four months with me maintaining the braids properly. I most definitely will return upon any visits back to Birmingham. I was visiting home in July 2020 and happened to drive passed this place. I went back and made an appointment. My braids were done exactly as the braids I showed them in the picture. It was done so well, it lasted four months with me maintaining the braids properly. I most definitely will return upon any visits back to Birmingham. I highly recommend Diva Hair Braiding because Kesso is a very talented individual. She is very honest and will always give you her feedback on a hair style to ensure you will be satisfied with the results. She has been doing my hair for 7yrs because I fell in love with her art for hair. I have never went to another hair braiding shop in these 7yrs and don’t plan on going anywhere else. And she also have a clothing store with very nice items. I’ve even purchased clothes from her. She is a very hardworking person who take pride in the results she delivers. ❤

I’ve been looking for someone to do my braids in AL for the longest and I just wasn’t happy with what I was seeing until I ran across the pictures on here and I was like yeahhhh they look good let me give them a try. I did NOT expect to come out this amazed! I LOVEEEE my hair! The parts, the length, the size. I love it soooo much and it only took 6 hours which is really fast!

I’m glad I made my way back to Haija at DAB salon. Just left the shop with the cutest cornrow Mohawk. She braids with such a soft hand and so very professionally. I made the mistake of letting another pair of hands into my head and never could a more wrong turn have been made. Glad to be back.

I come to get my hair done there all the time. I scheduled an appt for twist braids a week prior from my appt date. They never showed up. I waited 3 hours and still no call back or no show. I am very disappointed in Diva hair braiding. I just might not come back. That was very disrespectful.

Do not go here and get your hair done!!! I went for Ghana/Freestyle braids, basically large cornrows (5)….my hair didn’t last a week! The slim light complexion one rushed getting done with my hair….I went back and showed her where it was coming a loose at the ends, how uneven the back was, and how she pulled my edges on one side pulling out my hair follicle. I asked for a do over or refund….she said she could only do one braid over or it would cost me for her to redo, but it wouldn’t be today she was booked…..and she had no one in her chair and the other braider had the one customer that was there… then she said I have to leave to go drop my son to school(it was 9am, she had already opened late)…..Then she took my number said she would call me if she could squeeze me in that day to redo one braid and my ends…She never called back of course…Rude, unprofessional, and lack of braiding skills….Should’ve went to Westside…..Take your money elsewhere ladies!
