I’ve been going to Diva for about 14 years. Everyone is very natural and friendly with clients and always timely. The salon has a very comfortable feel which I particularly enjoy. And of course the Aveda products are excellent quality & I was graciously given a refund when I accidentally purchased the wrong product on a previous visit.

I went to Diva Studio a few days ago and I was very disappointed. not only was my hair cut way shorter than I asked for but the overall experience was not enjoyable. The stylist who did my service was kind and did a great job on my color but getting your hair done is supposed to be a time for pampering and relaxation and my stylist had me handing her foils the whole time. Of course I don’t mind helping out but I don’t think clients should be doing that when we’re the ones paying for a service. Also, both of the stylist I went to lacked major conversation skills. I tried to start up conversation multiple times and basically just got dry answers. I understand everyone has a bad day but it just made me feel really awkward. The hair cut was the most disappointing part, I am a college student so it has been a while since i’ve been able to get my hair done and I knew I had some dead ends. In the orginal consultation, she showed me the amount she would need to cut off and it look like about an inch, maybe inch in a half. She had to of cut off 2 or 3 inches at least. which was not planned. My hair wasn’t long before but it was well past my shoulders about chest length. Now it is barely past my shoulders and I am not happy about it. I’m not the type to write a bad review but my overall experience was not good. I still tipped and paid because it’s just hair and it’ll grow back.

I just located to this area and was excited to try this hair salon close to my home here. All I wanted was a trim with no more than an inch taken off and keeping up with my layers. What I ended up with was horrible. Each time a layer was taken an inch was cut off each time. I ended up with more than an inch cut off and about 5+ inches off. My layers aren’t blended and a straight line. Very choppy. One side is longer than the other. I will not be coming back and would not recommend.

Everyone was really friendly, and I felt like they did a great job of listening to me about the hair style that I wanted. I got a cut and all-over color. The price was very good, and I look great! I also got a pedicure a few months ago and will definitely be making an appointment for another one soon. I have some allergies, and they made a note of that on my profile so that those products can be avoided. The staff really takes care of you!

Came in and requested a haircut of 2″ shorter on the back and sides. Stylist repeated back what I wanted. After a few snips, I noticed pieces of hair that were 6-7″ laying on the ground. I don’t know where the confusion came from but after all was said and done, my hair was 6+ inches shorter all around. I didn’t freak out because I can roll with the flow pretty good but that was a bit ridiculous.

Took my 13 old daughter for a cut and style before school started. we asked for curtain bangs, layers, and thinning. The person that cut her hair did a terrible job, especially on the bangs. She used thinking scissors near the scalp, so there are short, spikey hairs all over her head. She also cut her curtain bangs an inch from her scalp, so without heavy product, it sticks straight out. they aren’t blended at all. It is about a far from any stretch of a curtain bangs an imagination can fathom. We showed a reference picture for what we wanted that showed curtain bangs starting under the eye. The stylist said it would fall just between the eyebrows when dry. It’s much higher than that. My daughter is mortified. She is resigned to clipping her hair back daily for months until it grows to a length that won’t stick straight out.
