This place used to be the best nail salon in the Kanawha Valley. Haven’t been here in a few years service has went down hill. My cuticles still looked a wreck after getting manicure and also asked to have my eyebrows dyed . I’m not sure what was done but it washed off and I suspect it was filled in with a pencil. I was charged 50 for my nails and 40 for the eyebrows . Overpriced and attention to detail lacking in effort these days.

I was going there regularly for nails and fill-ins, and an occasional pedicure. Judy was my nail technician and she was truly amazing. However,when I called for an appointment this last time, the guy on the phone yelled at me when inquiring about Judy. I just restated what he had said to me. He yelled loudly, “I’ve already told you that once!!!!” I don’t appreciate being yelled at, especially when I was very polite on the phone and am a regular customer. I will not be returning.

I got my nails done for the first time ever. I wanted to try it so they’d look nice for my wedding. The initial nails were very nice. I got French style nails with the dip, using my own nails, which were fairly healthy to begin with. After almost 3 weeks I went back, wanting to remove it and go back to my original nails. I hadn’t intended to keep it forever. That’s when the problem started. They tried to convince me to keep them, refresh them or whatever. But, I just wanted my nails back. Well, they started removing them,but acted like they didn’t want to, but it was very difficult and they damaged my nails. They buffed them down so far with the metal electric buffer, way below my nail bed. They have nicks and bumps and ridges and look awful. They’re so thin now that they peel and crack and today one ripped off when I did laundry. I’m very disappointed and sad about my first and now only experience getting my nails done. I’ll have to wait at least two months for my nails to grow back out for them to look normal again.

used to be the only place I’d get my nails done-even going out of my way to go there, as there are several salons closer to me. However, the last time I went, I had an appointment but when I got there, they had given it away. I admit I was four minutes late and I understand the need for them to keep on schedule-but seriously! Four minutes? Clocks can be off that much! They rudely told me the next time I was going to be late, to call them. There won’t be a next time! This is not how you treat a long time customer.

Went in for a full set and pedicure, my nails were beautiful. I paid $65 for a “deluxe” pedicure, to not be given what’s listed on their menu. She left dry skin on my feet and didn’t put any lotion on. She didn’t rub or massage in anyway like it’s listed on the menu. Not satisfied, she didn’t do what I look forward to the most. Won’t return.
