I’m really disappointed with my hair. I wanted some Senegalese twists. I sent a picture of the hair style I wanted. Which she said she could do. But, she clearly did not understand the assignment. Looked nothing like the picture. She rushed thru. It wasn’t neat. The ends are terrible. I paid $180 for some rushed twists, my ends aren’t even the same length. Just a mess. A complete waste of money.

I’m in love with my knotless braids. The lady who did them did an excellent job! Perfect parting space and not too much scalp. I will be coming back when I’m back in town visiting family again. If you go be sure to tip them, they work so hard and do a fantastic job

Since I’ve moved to Maryland its been hard finding a braiding salon that does good work. I’ve had to travel back to DC for braids that were neat and lasted for several weeks. This place is great. I had a 9am appointment on a Sunday morning. When I arrived, the stylist was in her suite waiting on me with a smile. She did not take breaks, talk on the phone the whole time, nor was I there all day. Best of all, I was still able to enjoy the same DC price I am so attracted to. Everyone can’t do Senegalese. I searched online for an hour and seen pics of twist that started off with a braid. Ladies, if your stylist is doing this leave. They are not experienced. Go to Diva African Hair Braiding. Its clean, nicely decorated, smells good and provides refreshments.
