Highly Highly Recommend! When I found that my daughter had lice, I had no idea where to start. Her doctor advised to just do the over the counter Nix treatment and all will be well. To tell you how overwhelmed I was trying to navigate my daughters coily curly hair with this store bought comb and lice shampoo that didn’t work was so overwhelming. To find Mary and her services was the best thing to happen during this experience. Hire a professional that’s all I have to say if you encounter lice. This is not a subject that is talked about much and is pretty much kept quiet, but when I was faced with having my child sent home from school with a note saying that they found lice on her head, I was lost! I tried the stuff you buy at the pharmacy, but it only worked for about a week and the bugs came back. So I went back to the pharmacy and they recommended a different brand, so I tried that… Again, about a week later, the bugs were back! So I started searching the web and making calls, and out of about 5 calls, Mary at Ditch The Itch was the most knowledgeable, and informative. She walked me thru the process and was completely up front about what to expect. The best part was when she got to the price… They were the best price with the best service! If you ever have a need for Lice Treatment services, I definitely recommend Ditch The Itch!

I spent almost $700 doing 2 treatments per family member, plus all the products the salon recommended. My son got lice again only four weeks later. I really can’t blame the salon becuz it’s hard to know how my son became infested again so soon. If the salon accidentally left an egg in the hair then that would answer the question. If he picked it up from someone then the products they sell clients are virtually ineffective. I purchased a year’s worth of the repellent they sell and now I regret wasting my money on this. What I have learned from this is that if the people around you aren’t going to take lice seriously then going to a salon to pay big money is a waste for many ppl. I decided to clean my son’s hair myself this time around. I purchased the terminator brush (similar to the one used in the salon) at Amazon. Bought a hair solution and removed all the lice, and treated the rest of my family as prevention. Also used coconut oil treatments in between. Saved hundreds of dollars. So far we’re all clean. I will not be recommending this salon to anyone.

My daughter had a severe allergic reaction to the Nixt lice removal system that I bought from Walgreens. She ended up in the ER with a swollen face and head. The ER Doctor recommended a lice removal salon and I found Ditch the Itch. Mary went above and beyond to get my daughter in that day for service. The technician (I can’t remember her name!) that cleaned my daughters hair drove all the way to the Redlands location to do it for us. The customer service was amazing! They got everything out with no harsh chemicals. I am sooo thankful that I found this place. It hurt my heart to see my baby with such pain in her eyes after getting an allergic reaction. Never again will I use a store bought lice treatment. I highly recommend Ditch the Itch. Thank you!!!
