Highly skilled and ideal for my haircut. I go with a more modern fade w/ hard part that is actually somewhat difficult to find a good haircut for. V nailed it, down to the smallest details. He did the fade with the more modern look I was going for and again, nailed it. I’m planning to stick with District 1 because I trust V to do whatever I need and do it well. He’s very professional and you can see he definitely knows what he’s doing. Plus, there’s a lot of extra attention to detail which I appreciate. On top of this, the shop itself is really cool, almost a steampunk/modern rustic vibe to the decor and atmosphere. I’m not totally sure of the product V used for my cut, but it smelled great (manly scented, lol) and the pasted he used stayed working all day. I personally found my go-to shop, V is now “my guy” for my haircutting needs. Also, I love that you can schedule appointments out in advance and pick a time where you know you can head over and get right in. Ideal shop, can’t recommend enough.

Just took my 5 year old in there for the first time, hoping to find somewhere for a fade and style…. perfection! This shop has a great vibe and all of the barbers were welcoming. My son walked out of there looking amazing! Thank You V for not only fading my son’s hair right, but making him comfortable and taking such good care of him!! Already scheduled his next appointment! Will be recommending this place!!

I love that there’s a high quality barbershop in Savage; the thing that stands out about this place is that you can get your hair cut from any of the barbers here and your hair cut will be 10/10. I’ve been to other chains or barber shops where you can only trust one person there, but not this place. Prices are also reasonable (typically $31) considering you’re getting your hair cut from people who actually know what they’re doing. I’ve been going here every 3 weeks since I moved to Savage and won’t go anywhere else. Lastly, it’s family-owned and all the employees there are super friendly.

My son is 6 years old and has always had a full head of hair. I had been taking him to a kids place for years and the haircuts were usually hit or miss. The last few had been complete disasters, and I knew we needed to figure something else out. One of my friends recommended District One, and I am so grateful. Quoc did an awesome job cleaning up my son’s hair and gave him a cut and style that makes him feel confident. The vibe at this place is really friendly and comfortable. Booking the appointment was super easy, and I appreciated the reminder emails and texts. We’ll definitely be going back!

Was an amazing experience, went in today as my first day and was absolutely blown away! For so long I was worried to get a haircut, because of past experiences and right away I felt at home, because of Joel. He did a great job of helping me choose a style and ended up doing a great job on the fade and taper. If this is your first time going like it was for me, the team does a great job of finding a haircut for you and for me that was a big help. Not only was the haircut great, but later Joel even recommended me a few products which I ended up not purchasing, but the knowledge he provided for the products was really good and in general having that option was great.

I’ve been going to District One Barber Shop since it’s first week of its opening and I’ve been happy with every single hair cut I’ve gotten! The barbers are professional, personable, always have a good attitude at work (which I personally appreciate), and the whole shop looks pretty cool.

We take our young son here for kid’s cuts and have found that the quality of the cut and the price are better than children’s barbers elsewhere. The location is clean, modern, and comfortable, and generally a great place to hang out. It feels like there’s genuine pride among the staff, too. Glad to have them in the area! Haircut

Great talented barbershop. Small group of people running it, they do everything from haircuts to beard trims and shaves and styles. Friendly staff and even if you’re unsure about what to do with your hair style both times I’ve said “whatever you think would be best” they did a fantastic job with the style and cut.
