I’ve been going to this salon for years. I even promoted the salon to others. I’ve recently had a consistent issue with my dip powder chipping. It leads me in the salon almost once a week for them to be repaired. I visited yesterday and waited an hour to get one nail fixed. As I waited I conversed with another client who had the same issues with the dip powder. I encouraged the lady to give them a chance to repair it. Usually I work with Tony who is always so pleasant and knowledgeable but he wasn’t in. My experience was with the owner or manager. She was unprofessional as I expressed my disappointment with having to wait an hour. The proper expectations were not set when I arrived of the time. It’s only when I noticed two people after me was taken before me that she stated they had appointments. She made gestures to another customer as she was pulling my chair out that the salon was busy. I remained calm and allowed the repair of my nail. I was sitting while my nail was drying and the customer she made the gesture at stated that she noticed the unprofessionalism during the interaction. I simply smiled and told the lady I’m going to take my consistent money else where. It saddens me to leave because I’ve been loyal but I must depart from this salon.

If I could leave a negative star, I would. I came on my birthday due to my original nail tech being closed randomly. I came thinking they seem friendly, this is a nice scenary. The lady that did my nails was so nice, however her work was terrible. I paid extra for my tips to be cut coffin-like & they ended up being a mix between circled off & slightly cut- not coffin. Then I requested a design, it’s my birthday wanted to go all out, she told me she couldn’t do any designs & to come back next week to have someone else do it because they were all too busy. I understand what busy is like, but if I tell you what I want before you start- why start then at the end tell me you can do what I asked? Then, a rude, loud customer walked in demanding people to do things for her, cursed one of the technicians out- basically like she owed the place. Regardless of the people who have been waiting paitently, they all went to assist her instead of providing service for those who have been waiting. A few days after I experience that madness, my nail breaks & the paint chips off. I went to a different salon & they advised that this place (TLC) made the acrylic so thin & did not glue the tips on properly, that this is bound to happen & I needed to go back & say something. So I did, I asked for a refund- instead of politely rejecting the refund they intended to talk loudly amongst each other in a different language then said I can not get a refund & they could fix it. Why fix it when they created the mess? So I left without a refund or getting the situation resolved. A few days later 2 more nails pop off just at the tip, then today another. That’s a total of 4 nails that have popped off at the tips without me being rough on my hands. This place is ridiculous & unprofessional. Never go if you want good, long lasting work. It’s honestly not worth the money or time. I can guarantee you will never be satisfied. Ever.

This place is a disgrace to nail salons all over. I went there 2 weeks ago to redo my dip polish (because my other nail salon tech was out sick) & it took the technician 3 hours & it was clumpy!! On top of that, my nails (that I’ve been growing out since December) are all broken off thanks to this place & they were LONG. On top of that, they STILL wanted me to pay full price for it. I will NEVER go here again. Waste of your money & time. I plead with anybody to not go here. They will ruin your spa experience. I wish they had an option to post pictures because I will show you how much of a horrible job they did on my nails.

First and last time going. I tried the dip powder the first time so I’m not 100% sure if this is the way its supposed to look, but every single nail is bumpy. Little dips between my natural nail and the tips. My eyebrow wax was OK. She left hairs underneath the arch. Also my wait time was so long. There was only one person in there at the time who knew how to do powder nails and eyebrow wax. I went here bc it was close to my house but I’ll make the trip to Irmo where I know I won’t feel like my $60 went to waste.

My nails look terrible and I would not recommend this place at all. My nails do not look like a professional did them and the amount of time that it took for a fill-in is ridiculous for them to look this bad. My money will not be going here ever again.
