I’m just a person who feels if you have a appointment that if you are early so you aren’t late that you will be served on time. What’s the point of making a appointment? He was very nice and professional. My baby was moving more than usual when he gets a hair cut so patience was needed. Overall I don’t think we will be going back, not because its a bad place just not a feel for me.

I just moved to Wilson and was unsure where to get my son’s haircut. So when I found this shop on google I was kinda skeptic about trying a new place, but boy was I proven wrong!! Melo was the barber that cut my son’s hair and he did an absolutely amazing job. He was very friendly and very professional and he absolutely freaked my son‘s haircut. He has a dope little shop with a great atmosphere and such a positive vibe. He makes you feel like you’re a part of the family. He made sure to ask me exactly what I wanted done to my son’s hair. He paid attention to detail. We had an overall wonderful experience.When I tell you he’s the best barber in Wilson I mean it!! If you have a son or if you want to get your haircut this is the shop you should go to. He definitely deserves more than five stars. We have found our new barbershop. Thank you for an amazing experience and a job well done

I first encountered Mel-O & DiFrent Level as a letter carrier. The vibe is always positive and the energy is always high. Barber/beauty businesses tend to be as segregated as a Baptist church on Sunday morning but not this place. The easy assumption was “this is a black barber shop” but it got my attention when I saw more than a few white and Latino customers on the regular. I’d see people lined up to wait their turn. I’d see folks coming in to chat even if they didn’t need a cut. I saw women coming in for services too. This place is as advertised, DiFrent.
