Diesel Barbershop is the modern-day version of the vintage corner barbershop and appeals to what today’s men and boys want in a haircut experience. It offers a more masculine atmosphere with a no drama, no gossip attitude and barbers and stylists who are exceptionally trained and talented. They know how to cut a good head of hair, as well as give amazing customer service. We are a refreshing sanctuary for guys: part barbershop, part salon, and part arcade. Our customers can watch sports, play video games, listen to music, shoot the breeze, and enjoy a cold beverage-all while getting a haircut, trim, shave, scalp massage or brow wax.

I made an appointment for my son at 3:30 today, days ago to get a long awaited haircut and new hair style for my son the day before thanksgiving. I received a text at 3:32 saying my stylist was ready when I was stuck in traffic at a creek side light. I walked in at 3:37 when I was told that my stylist went on break because I was 5 minutes late and I needed to reschedule. Wait what?? I had an hour appointment scheduled and your stylist decided to go on break?? What kind of business are you running here? I respect peoples time but I was only 5 mins late and if time was an issue then I was willing to have him skip a shampoo which takes 10 mins. Problem solved. But you decided to deny my son his appointment the day before thanksgiving because of being 5 mins late due to being stuck in traffic. I will never spend another dime in this establishment and will let all my family and friends know not to come here. Fellas, if your looking for a local barber that has great customer service, a variety of whiskey, and a great place to get a fresh haircut, try The Refinery or Haarschnitts in Gruene. They won’t deny you service for being 5 mins late. I will never step foot in this trash place again.

This was my 1st time @ Diesel Barbershop and I really enjoyed my experience. I booked my appointment solely off of reading another review about Angela and I have to say that I was more than pleased with her and that the review was pretty spot on. After reading that the other guest mentioning that Angela got his hair just the way he’d been wanting it for awhile I was pretty sold on trying her out and I’m very glad that I did. She was very upbeat and knew just what to ask about what I was looking for. Angela will be seeing me for all of my future haircuts until she gets tired of me.

I have always had a great experience and an amazing cut with Anelisa. She knows exactly how to cut my hair right every time. Been going here for about 4 months now. Last month I, accidentally, scheduled an appointment with another lady and she cut it way too short, fade was really high, and it was not blended after I explained I like it blended. Still was charged an extra $10 for idk what. So I paid $65 (I tip $15 normally) for a diesel plus even though it was not to my liking. Fast forward to yesterday, had an appointment for my son and I, arrived 3 minutes late because Willie Nelson’s concert lol.Was told they’d be with us in a minute. Sat down for 2 minutes, noticed our name reading “on deck” on the screen. Was told since we were 5 minutes late they couldn’t help us even though my barber and 3 others were at the counter….

I loved this place when it first opened. But since the first manager moved on, this place has gone down hill. I used to mind paying more, because the customer service was worth it. But now, its a different attitude and vibe. Now its almost as if we the customers are lucky to have our hair cut by them. Such a difference in mentality from where it started to where it is anymore. Was an experience to enjoy, but now just avoid it. Not worth it.

I’m going to take my state licensing test tomorrow and needed neck strips desperately. Went to Ulta and even asked if I could just have ONE, they said no because it’s their inventory, which I get but come on … so went to diesel and thankfully this AWESOME lady gave me some I am so grateful!
