Diesel Barbershop is the modern-day version of the vintage corner barbershop and appeals to what today’s men and boys want in a haircut experience. It offers a more masculine atmosphere with a no drama, no gossip attitude and barbers and stylists who are exceptionally trained and talented. They know how to cut a good head of hair, as well as give amazing customer service. We are a refreshing sanctuary for guys: part barbershop, part salon, and part arcade. Our customers can watch sports, play video games, listen to music, shoot the breeze, and enjoy a cold beverage-all while getting a haircut, trim, shave, scalp massage or brow wax.

When we moved here in August my mission was to find a legit barbershop and after my first visit at Diesel I’ll never go anywhere else. My barber of choice is Kelsey and she kills it every time! Not only is she a phenomenal barber but the vibe, the conversations, and overall atmosphere in the shop is very welcoming for adults and kids. I made an appointment to get my hair cut on Sunday at 12:30. Got in my car and began driving there only to be told 15 minutes prior that they had to cancel and forgot to text/call. Diesel believes that customers must pay a fee if an appointment is late or missed but don’t hold the same standard when it’s turned back. Horrible service and can only surmise that this service carries over to the result/interaction of a haircut. If you want to be treated as a welcomed/valued patron, don’t go here nor even contemplate it. If I could leave half a star, I would.

5-star experience! Recently moved to the Summerville area and was desperately looking for a barber last minute on a Sunday. Walked into Diesel without an appointment at 11am but they were completely booked. Left my contact information and they were able to get me in later that afternoon due to a cancellation. Chevas was my barber and she was top notch! Listened to my needs, gave me exactly what I asked for (skin fade with length on top) and offered suggestions on what she felt would support the look. The staff was very friendly and professional and I can confidently say I have found my new barber.

Ok haircut for a high price. A low fade doesn’t mean high up on the crown.. barely was spoken to, very short mannered staff. Asked to not shape up in front because I like a natural look so it all grows in even, she still shaved around the front of my head.. now I have short hairs growing in right in front. I’d rather go to sports clips and wait 4 hours.
