I have been going to Didika salon for a few years now and have always had a wonderful experience. Weather getting a cut and color, just a cut, or one of the best facials I have ever had on Bergenline Avenue, Didika delivers. I am a fanatic about skin care and skin care treatments and cannot recommend the deep cleansing facial they perform here. Their staff is friendly and warm, they do excellent work, and the salon is beautiful to look at.

Being going to Didikas since my wife raved about how good Christian was with color and cut. He is a barber and I am one to stay away from salons and only go to barber shops, well that changed and I now only go to Christian for my cuts and highlights. He is excellent and give great ideas as well for cuts depending on hair and how manageable it will be. Now my son comes here as well and loves it. Thank You guys!!!

As usual, Alejandro left me brand new! Shout to Leidy, for tackling my maní/pedi like no one had before. I hired Diana and her team to do hair and makeup for the day of my wedding for myself (bride), bridal court, mother, and godmother. She and her team did an excellent job. We all had a different hair style we wanted and after showing the stylists the hair style we wanted, they followed through and did a great job. Same thing with makeup – we brought a sample of the color of the bridesmaids dress for them to use in the eyeshadow palette. We were all pleased with the outcome. And they have a beautiful salon – very picture worthy with the chandeliers and modern decor.

Wife visited here recently and was quoted $35 for a haircut. Unfortunately, the only English speaker was one person who did not turn out to be her hair stylist. When the stylist asked if she would like her hair blow dried by saying “dryer?”, my wife said yes thinking that it’s just to dry her hair. After finishing up, the total bill came out to be double all because they charged $30 to blow dry her hair and do some styling. Pretty sure they should be more transparent upfront and say that the blow-drying style is extra. Had the receptionist or the stylist said something about the extra fee, she wouldn’t have had to pay the extra $. Not every customer is going to go on the website and read the details on what is included and what is not.

I stopped in for a quote with a friend and I was treated very rudely by the guy there. He picked at my hair, made faces, and Snide remarks about my hair being damaged and not being treatable, saying things like “oh, no, no, no,” “I cant do anything with this,” and “no one in the shop is specialized to work with your type of hair”. I found this to be odd being that I have soft curly hair.
