Dick’s Barber Shop is locally run and owned by Brian, located in the beautiful Manistee, MI. Our business started 38 years ago with Brian’s grandfather running the shop. Now, 3 generations later, Brian is running the shop. Rick, (Brian’s brother), also helps to cut hair occasionally in the afternoons. We are open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm, with Saturdays closing at 11am. Haircuts are currently $14. We are located on River Street in Manistee. Parking can be right on River Street, or in the parking lot located next to the building. We happily serve all ages, so come on in for all of your haircut needs today!

So sorry I have to do this and be the first. I’m sure brian you are great with cutting men’s hair, but you are going to cut a woman’s hair (and mine was a very very simple bob for fine hair.) at least listen to what I was asking you to do. All I asked was to wet it, cut with scissors with my head down. You as some hair professionals I have met in my 40 plus years as a licensed professional stylist refused to listen and did it your way. you cut my bob with a clipper and yes you offered if I found any stray long hairs to come back. Unfortunately, I spent half hour getting all the long missed long hairs. If you had listened to me it would have taken the same amount of time and with the right results. As I said I worked over 40 years doing both women, men and children. A simple bob haircut? Fine, thin hair? Really? I found numerous inch, couple inch and three inch long hair globs. so sorry Dick, but as I said yours is a barbershop. My mom used to go to a barber cause she liked having a dry hair cut. I have half my mom’s hair and half my dads. curly but very fine.. Brian disregarded my wishes for a scissor haircut. I will say this that after I finished getting all the loose long hairs cut myself and blew it dry. It’s good. It does go under because he did push my head in the right directions for the under cut. I will give him that, because I can fix the small stuff. All I ask is that listen to me. I am the customer. I know my hair. please? Thank you. If I get no response, I guess I’ll go spend my very meager social security on a over charging hair salon for a job that I think is only worth 10 bucks.
